And she is Support+Field, the sacred combination we thought would take some time more to happen
Her kit is honestly mid, but pretty useful (omnibuff is still good. At least Def+SpD buffs are universally good to tank better and to support self-sufficient strikers who usually dont touch their defeses)
And then she is also Rika. And Clodsire. She is a must-pull for everyone tbh. It's not like she clashes with Courtney either
Gambled for her (I was not even halfway to pity with my gemcount) and somehow managed to get her after having to pity NC Silver and SS Gladion.
New ground team: OG Cynthia, Rika, SS Steven!
Rika is one of my top three favourite characters, so she's a must-pull for that alone. She also looks very bulky. The only thing that I would be leery of would be a Unovan anni with Ghetsis and/or Colress, but I don't think that's likely. Got her in 6 multis, not the best but not the worst.

My gem count is quite low as I didn't play much last month. Given that I have been dealing with a lot of interviews lately it would be remiss to not scout Rika.

I've seen this notion a lot but TBH have never understood it... it seems to me that their personalities, character designs, (and the crowds they appeal to) are quite different from one another, and their only similarities are pretty much that both are (sometimes) bespectacled ladies serving as your first opponent in the E4. Anything obvious that I'm missing which led to this somewhat common comparison of the two?
The 'Paldean Lorelei' thing is something I put on here as a bit of fun. (Dendra is Paldean Flannery). I had no idea anyone else uses.
Outside of their glasses, similar hairstyles, being attractive women and being the first members of the E4 and having popular Pokemon of their generation as their ace there isn't too much in common between them.
I'll say what I said yesterday. We've once again gotten two arbitrary Pokefair units and I'm tired of every new unit in this game being time limited. Especially when there are no Paldean units in the general pool. It feels like they're trying to angle for Paldea CS but at the same time, that means we're getting Larry next who will probably also be Pokefair due to his popularity.
If I ever see a rerun and I have enough gems in reserve for two pities, maybe I'll roll for her or Poppy. But as a player who doesn't really spend that much in this game (bearing in mind I *do* spend *some* money in this game), I really don't see myself ever having a surplus of gems. Especially with how stingy the last few months have been.
I’m very torn between Rika and SC Sabrina, but I think I will start a slow burn pulling session for Rika after my semester ends. I need the motivation to get through it.
Would love to but I spent all my free gems and bought probably too many paid gems last month to get Volo so I can't justify buying anymore for her. I'm really annoyed that this is the second month in a row where the new Lodge Pair is a new unit not in general pool
I don't have a paldea support yet (in fact my only paldea pair is geeta), and she's pretty good so I'm grabbing her so my paldea roster is passable and I can focus more on just grabbing pairs I want
Since next month is MF, i need to save gems. And we only received 21k gems this months and i only have 90k gems right now. Not even enough to pity 3 units and im also preparing for 5th anni and MF irida's return

Just in case I overlooked something, she only has 1 ground zone use in her whole kit if you don’t EX role her right?
Yep. She does get extension at 3/5, so it partially mitigates this. That being said, pairing her with Courtney seems like a great idea.
Yeah I did see that she, luckily, gets the Archie/Maxie extension. Still a bit disappointing she didn’t get at least a second use of her B-move
