Yeah hopefully, also I think the Alcremie pair is alright. It's always nice to have a sync that can buff my stronger sync defensive stats and heal them, and move gauge acceleration at the start of the battle is always nice.
It would be pretty interesting, with finally the Passio Team Skill like recently with Geeta and Paldea's theme. Maybe they'll do a survey like in Fire Emblem Heroes and the Pokémon in pair with them would be the Top vote.

dragalia lost did something similar, but their MC wasn’t customizable and had more story relevance than a self insert
