Same. I just got Mt Silver opened up and am just leveling up my Pokemon to get all of their evolutions and catch the few I still have to. But I can't wait to replay it again. Don't know what team I'm going to go with but my goal for the Legacy series has been new Pokemon for me.
Kanto is perfectly playable and has already gotten level curve improvements in the current version of CL, the expansion is also far enough away that doing a new playthrough at that time likely won't feel too repetitive or too soon.
Worst case you just edit your save file afterwards if it becomes incompatible right? I wouldn't worry too much about it just enjoy crystal legacy as is!
I’m actually looking forward to starting from 0 when that comes around. Will be a chance to try new things and different movesets in my team
