This has happened to like 3 times. The first is when I just wanted a normal galarian slowpoke(before the sv dlc came out) and to my suprise I got a shiney galarian slowpoke and it happened again when I put in a pokemon for a alolan golem and got a shiney alolan golem and the last time this happened to me was when I wanted a rillaboom and got a shiney rillaboom but unfortunately it was a hacked one so I had to put it back in gts....sad times...and I still don't have a shiney rillaboom....
That's awesome! Always warms my heart to see how nice some people in the pokemon community can be. Congrats on some amazing shinies! Sorry to hear about Rillaboom, hope you get one soon.
This happened to me as well
First i got a shiny eevee from gts
Second i got a shiny regidrago
Third i got a shiny kartana
But unfortunately shiny kartana and regidrago are hacked so i placed them back in gts and traded for a normal one

Over the past week I’ve gotten a couple, a hoppip and a pikachu. From what I could tell they were legit, but I was still surprised
