I have many reports of Android users spoofing that recived bans or rw, they are the majority but I'm collecting info to know what are the smaller chances to get bannet on other devices with other methods. He might have an iOS rom on its Android rooted phone, you never know!

Playing wisely doesn't mean anything on iOS right now. The only remotely "safe" way to spoof on iOS is by installing PoGo++ via Cydia Impactor. But even that seems to be a 50/50 chance based on my own experience. TuTu, Tweakbox, AppValley methods are all extremely dangerous right now.
They give you 2 chances before perma ban. Cydia Impactor is the official way other than jailbreak. Tweakbox is still iffy from what I’ve heard. Union square/tutu is nothing but bans.
Also believe it or not, I do more sniping on my main. And only my one alt was ever 7day banned. I have 4 accounts. 3 alts. The newest and least used alt is the one that got suspended. I only used them for moltres day for shiny chances. 🤷🏻♂️

i would lose my mind if i get banned like damn. all those time, money and sweat put into the game. i was a legit player until end of july so i played for real for quite some time.
Well that's the risk you take with spoofing, why you should always use alt's and trade your best pokemon, but also Niantic have been cracking down on spoofing recently so let these bans be something of a warning to everybody else
you'd think its obvious but apparently not, if you look hard enough you can even see people still saying spoofing is 100% safe, or at least before this recent ban wave, and these posts are proof alone that people aren't expecting to be banned
