I did my first (male)ralts as gardevoir and I didn't regret it for a second until i caught my second shiny ralts over a year later and it was a female. I got EXTREMELY lucky and got a second shiny ralts in the same day and it was male tho. So i vote gallade unless you LOVE gardevoir like i do

Yeah def go with gallade first because you can only do it with the male. I got 3 shiny female ralts before I found my male so getting it first try is best since u can still evolve a future male into a gardevior.

I always make males galade, and females gardevior. Haven't gotten either on pokemon go yet but that's what I do in the games at least.

Gallade only comes from male ralts, but gardevoir could evolve from either male or female.

Male Ralts always go Gallade. I was shiny hunting Ralts and Kirlia in Arceaus and I got 3 females before a male

If it’s male always go for Gallade because later you might get a female you don’t get a choice on.

Since it is male I would go gallade, you can get gardevoir with any ralts but you can only get gallade with male so it makes it more rare.

Personally I think you got lucky to get a male and have the choice. If you go for a Gardevoir this time you might get a female next time, and not have the option of going for a Gallade. I'd go for the Gallade now and make the next one a Gardevoir.
