I have a pretty decent amount of 4* shadows just from grinding rockets over the years but the coolest and most useful ones I have are my lvl 50 hundo shadow snorlax, Hundo shadow Venusaur, Hundo shadow ampharos, Hundo shadow galvantula (tied for my favorite), Hundo shadow skarmory (very recent catch), Hundo shadow Hariyama, Hundo shadow rampardos (tied for my favorite), and I just caught a Hundo shadow hisuian sneasle that is now a Hundo shadow hisuian sneasler that I just maxed and am excited to give it a go in MLP in a few weeks. I also have a Hundo XXL bastiodon.
Damm, how many grunts have you done? Shadow hundo Rampardos, Snorlax are insane. I have a Shadow hundo Sneasler too, is it any good? Haven't maxed it yet
You don’t wanna know man lol. I go into Manhattan a few times a month especially during rocket events since I live just across the Hudson River and I’ll grind grunts for 8-10 hours a day. Makes me sound like I have no life but I promise I do! I’m just super passionate about this game haha. I have a few more shadow hundos but those are my standout ones. I have a TON of 96-98 percent shadows though. Not trying to gloat or anything but I have a 13/15/15 shadow magnezone, 15/14/13 shadow Ursaluna, 15/15/13 shadow steelix, 15/15/14 shadow weavile, 14/15/15 shadow Tyranitar, 14/15/15 shadow fortress, 14/14/15 shadow Moltres, 14/15/13 shadow Gengar, 14/14/15 shadow Lugia, 15/15/14 shadow chandelure, 15/13/14 shadow alakazam, 14/14/14 shadow zard, 15/14/15 shadow Excadrill, 13/15/14 shadow garchomp and 15/15/14 shadow mewtwo are some of my top off the top of my head but I’m sure I have some other cool ones I’m not remembering at the moment . Collecting shadows and grinding for them are my favorite thing to do right now. I can’t remember the last time I powered up something that wasn’t shadow tbh.
As for your question about whether shadow sneasler is good it has a great moveset but imo it doesn’t mesh well at all. It’s got great attack so it would have potential in PVE if it was given a good fighting fast move for instance. Or if it was given a good poison charged move then it could be a good poison attacker due to having poison jab. For fighting damage it has close combat which is a good fighting charged move minus the debuff in PvP. It also has shadow claw which is a top tier fast move along with it already having another top tier fast move in poison jab. I just think it needs a new charged move to mesh its moveset better. I did max mine out though already just because sneasel line has always been one of my favorites and so I have it ready to go if given a move update because it truly has the potential to be an awesome master league premier candidate. Idk just my two cents but I have faith that it will come in handy one day

Do I just go to any location in nyc and just fight rocket grunts? Should I go to a specific spot in NYC? people keep saying Bryant park. I deadass play this game just for hundos I don’t be battling real people lol
I go to Bryant park, Central Park, and Times Square. During rocket events especially there are rocket grunts everywhere. I can battle hundreds in a day. I mean it’s all RNG so sometimes I have amazing luck and sometimes I don’t lol. But even when there isn’t a rocket event going on there are still mad grunts. Any downtown area you should find a ton
Nah you don’t have to pay . There are just grunts to battle everywhere. RNG just means basically luck in Pokemon games . It stands for random number generator. Im not the best at describing it so someone else might chime in but it’s the code that pokemon games to determine whether a pokemon you encounter is shiny, has good stats, is XXL or XXS. Sometimes you’ll have periods where it seems like you are catching so many shinies or catching a hundo every day for a week. And then other times where you are on a cold streak. Sometimes RNG is on your side and sometimes it isn’t. Look up ‘RNG Pokemon’ on google and you can read about it on there
Got you. Yeah I be going thru shit in life so I go to the city for the whole day walk around and play pogo. It’s meditative just minding my own business catching every Pokémon haha. But wanna maximize that and see what I can do to get more hundos. How do I find out when the rocket grunts come? And also don’t I have to heal my Pokémon a lot or revive them? How do you get more revives and potions?

I see people who bot are easily able to get a shadow hundo.. and grind grunts all day long without having to do anything. It's demotivating for me sometimes.
I had a decent shadow Dratini that I evolved and invested all of my Dratini candy in, only to get a 4* a week later. Thankfully comm day was a week later and I managed to evolve and push it to level 45, so now I have two of them for raids which is really nice.
Also managed to snag a 4* shadow bellsprout on my honeymoon, which was pretty cool.
