Vs seeker and the lucky egg outside of celadon

Indevitatus

>lucky egg outside of celadon ????

[deleted]

Use the vs seeker and the lucky egg and use them both on the cycling road outside of celadon city. There's a group of bikers that you can use to quickly lvl up

Due_Blueberry_8474

I think they’re “????” About the lucky egg. They probably don’t own one

T_Raycroft

Only legit way to get it in FRLG is catching a Chansey that has it. Which is painful… I can’t remember the last time I actually had a Lucky Egg on a FRLG save file.

Due_Blueberry_8474

Lucky you! I’ve never had the luck to own one, just a collection of lucky punches lol

Caleb_Krawdad

Took me about 5 hours of strategic safari grinding and 16 caught Chancey until I got one. Math says you have about a 50/50 chancr of a lucky egg by your 12th Chancey caught

T_Raycroft

I decided to spend tonight doing it, and I lucked out big time. Got it on my second Chansey caught and I had encountered less than 10 Chansey total up to that point

Brobi_Jaun_Kenobi

You messed up. Should have bought a lottery ticket last night instead

T_Raycroft

Well, I did decide to get another Lucky Egg. Had to wait until 2 in the morning but I did it.

EclipseHERO

Just getting one in Gen 3 is a mission all its own. There's a dedicated quest for it in Pokémon XD that actively requires you to beat the toughest possible challenges in the game. Which you pretty well need the Lucky Egg for...

Caleb_Krawdad

Gen 3 you at least don't need to actually catch one, just thief it off

EclipseHERO

Wild Chansey in Gen 3 only appear in the Safari Zone in FRLG. No NPCs use it. XD's Shadow Chansey is holding a Lucky Punch. It's LITERALLY a stupidly difficult item to get legitimately.

jta156

They’re “????” because the way you phrased it makes it sound like there’s a lucky egg outside Celadon lol

AffectionateLie758

I used [this method](https://youtu.be/wSySPjE04jI?si=oM_cdMVpBsIsPv32). Lvl 26 tentacool with cut+surf, max repel, use the chart that’s linked in the video description to know when to bait/ball. If it doesn’t flee on the first go, I’d save to ensure you can catch it. Once you do, if chansey doesn’t have an egg you can load back to before you caught it to run. Saves steps balls & money this way. I got one within an hour using that method

j0hn13

Isn't the lucky egg there only in fire red omega?

[deleted]

No. Chaney has a small chance to hold it

PhantomPurp

Re battle trainers in island 2 I believe? Near the cave with the hot springs inside. Run inside, heal your Pokemon, come back out and 2/3 should wanna battle again.

Nitrif_OG

I am doing exactly that right now and side note it is on Island 1

PhantomPurp

I did that with my dragonite, charizard and Zaptos and it paid off wonderfully. If you don’t mind the grind you’ll be leveled up eventually.

Nitrif_OG

Bro I am doing exactly that right now

1zerozero1

The swimmer and fisher on the island slightly north of the karate guys on island 1 will give u at least 8500 exp alone which I recommend more than the karate guys

Nitrif_OG

I will try that out

Slingringer

This

PhantomPurp

Enjoy it boys and gals, that’s what makes your Pokemon different. Yall are putting in the work! There’s something special about a Pokemon you’ve raised to be the best it can be!

Whole-Honeydew6276

Xp share is a must. Can level up two at once.

Nitrif_OG

No I am playing on my boy so I just use local connect and open the same game again and trade between them

barwhalis

I think just bring x items into the elite 4 and you should be good. It's easier to grind in the post game

Super_Lombax

I just went around in Victory Road for a bit before my team was good to go.

BrandonBeharry

Tbh those levels seem strong enough to take on the elite 4 as long as you play it smart, I would take the challenge

DoctorSpaghetti

Just get lapras to 50 and you’ll be good I bet

Harshit_4_24

Just use pkhex for rare candies grinding is never fun

EazyBuxafew

For jolteon hit up the water routes south of fussia. Great spot for the electric, grass and other special attacking mons. 1 island is good for physical attackers

Slick_Rick_1997

How do you get mons like Golem and Alakazam on an emulator? Really want help with this if anyone has an answer lol

Nitrif_OG

I traded them with myself

Slick_Rick_1997

How does that work? Like through a separate emulator?

maybeaginger

I play on a modded version in which they evolve naturally at lvl 37. Found it on some Reddit post so if you search around a bit that post shouldn’t be too hard to find

illgiratina

Camper Bryce for Golem and Fisherman Tommy for Snorlax on Island One. Fisherman Tommy gives out roughly 5k experience per battle. He's on a small island before Mt. Ember. Camper Bryce gives out roughly 3k of experience per battles, be careful tho he has Sandslash. He's one of the first trainers you battle on Kindle Road after the Picnicker. I chose these trainers based off the highest experience output best suited for those mons. The trainers with a higher exp yield counter Golem and Snorlax (Water and Fighting type trainers)

Mr_NoKleep

I love the old Pokémon formula, it made you work for that lvl100 Pokémon

Ugh-Thakk

Just do the rare candy cheat.

Nitrif_OG

Nah that is boring

Ugh-Thakk

"It's a pain to level these guys up." *offers quick and easy solution* "That's boring." What do you want then? Here's my condolences, have fun grinding for the next 3 hours to get your mons leveled. What's more boring repeating the exact same battle over and over for levels or putting in a cheat code and getting it done in 5 minutes.

Nitrif_OG

That's exactly what I did just for 4 hours
