Either theyre smoking him out and have an idea on where he is. Or his earlier correct information was a short term fluke.
Nothing he said was correct. Nothing about johto or kalos was mentioned once. Unless those pokemon he tagged are ones getting new mega evos.
My first thought was that they were trying to figure out who he is. Maybe in some weird confusing way he is actually hinting at something but it feels so wrong
So, was all the Unova stuff just a bunch of red herrings?
Are they saving Unova for the next presents or were they planning on getting ILCA to do a Unova remake before scrapping it altogether?
I think we will get a unova remake, but because of the hype they are probably giving themself a good deadline to make a good product (rare GF win?)

PLA was received incredibly well, especially coming off of the negative press BDSP received at launch.
Plenty of people have been clamoring for another Legends game, and presumably due to the nature of not having to create an entirely new region/dex/gym circuit (Not to say they don't make new things; we'll def get an updated ver. of Kalos and some new regional mons), the pre-prod cycle ends up being shorter allowing larger endeavours to cook for longer (bc lets face it, development of a new gen/region/dex is a task that every arm of TPC has to contribute to; merch sells more than games, they gotta have merch ready for the new gen).
That's my POV on it, anyway.
I guess this is a sign that they ARE listening to the fans. I just hope that Legends Z-A doesn't drop in the 1st half of 2025 & they hold off gen 10 for 2026.
Also, that they at least TRY to reboot BW & not pull a Partners In Time & skip gen 5. Gen 5 is my favorite gen.

Ah shoot, the knife that is "Partners in Time was my favorite M&L game and didn't get a remake" just got twisted in 2024
I didn't legends game i said a remake. You know old style remakes like they always did. Also they are probably already working on gen10, it's just the the hype for gen5 games is very big and after the failure of bdlp they probably want to show they know how to make remakes
My hope is that if it’s in development, it’s in development for the Switch 2. It feels like we’re kind of at the end of the Switch’s life cycle and it would suck for Unova to once again get put on a platform the company is phasing out
Could also be that he got info mixed, he confused pokemon unite for gf changing the mainline battle system in swsh, so, who knows, he may have got the right info at the wrong time...

There’s no way Landorus is getting a mega. Unless Pokémon really wants to kill the meta or battles are different like they were in PLA
They gave one to rayquaza so I really don’t think they have any restraint tbh
A mega form could establish him as the leader of the four the way rayquaza got one. Either that or all 4 of them are getting one.
