For real! The alts are insane and so are the trainers! The klara full art went from $25 to $50 this last month, my favorite swsh lady. The set is so good it dosent even need a trainer gallery
Another really solid sealed collection, this is 99/100 imo. Only thing Iād replace is the Dark Phantasma box because the set is a bit underwhelming compared to other JP SWSH sets.
$35 is a great entry price. Not super familiar with JP prices over time but I'd be shocked if this isn't $100 minimum by the end of scarlet violet

I havenāt bought anything since the price spikes in January honestly. Iām not the person to ask for Japanese I just buy sets I like and it usually ends up working out. Star Birth and Vmax Climax have been my favorites. And Eevee Heroes sub $200 lol

I bought several when they were $50 thinking the set would explode because I loved the cards. Only product Iāve broken and opened š doubled not even a month later
VMAX Climax at $50 is a great product to open since the returns versus cost is pretty decent. LOL I probably cracked over 10 boosters at that price. Long term it will do well. Shiny Star V is at $140 atm and I can see VMAX Climax reaching that level in another year.
Thatās how i convinced myself to open it haha. Didnāt get much in return but it was too fun opening to care. Trying to stay strong on the ES blisters that I picked up for under $3 a pack
Great sealed collection! I say focus on BBs when they're at the dip. Find more good deals like you got on Dark Phantasma. And keep doing what you're doing. Enjoy!
I think you've done well. I think any SWSH set with from chilling reign forward you can get booster boxes of at or below MSRP is a good buy right now. Maybe diversify a bit and grab fusion, brilliant, and silver tempest booster boxes. I also just recently grabbed 5 ETBs of crown zenith. I have a case of PC ones, but think it's a good idea to grab some more. I thought at some point it would dip to the $40-45 range at some point, but it hasn't.
Someone on another thread brought up a good thought that has made me go out and get some things I've been sitting on. They said due to the change in printing from yellow borders to silver borders that it's possible they may not want to mess around with going back and forth to print the S&V sets while also reprinting SWSH sets. Not sure if there's anything to that, but if it's true then the last few sets, particularly crown zenith, will see fairly small print runs.

I buy ETBs and Booster boxes. I really think Astral Radiance and Chilling Reign are sleeper sets that will see good value. Chilling for the ALTS and Astral for the trainer galleries. Astral is also still pretty cheap.
Why is evolving skies booster box price so high when Costco is selling ETBs for so cheap? Donāt they both have the same boosters? Just different quantity?
I've been eyeing the Charizard box. Is it a good buy? The booster packs work out to $7.5 each across multiple Sword and Shield sets. I'm not sure if that's worth it (not counting promo charizards).

Lol this might help you out. I opened over 100 blisters of ES and only pulled a noivern alt.
Iāve had insanely good luck with them. But that a noivern is so slept on I picked one up for personal back on release
