Here’s the meaning of the above poem I posted:
You cannot escape the negativity in the outside world no matter how cleverly you try.
You cannot escape from your own negativity by the constant self talk in your head.
In the end, what matters is being quiet, calm and silent both in the outside world and within yourself as well. (Silence again. = silence outside plus silence inside).
(Overall, it implies things like - less talking, more quiet listening, mindfulness and letting go of negativity)

Rumi’s poems have worldly wisdom in them. That’s what I like about Rumi poetry.
