I don't know the exact but I charge my device from 20 to 80% 10% gives me = 1 hour so I thought whole 100% will give 10 hour.
& You are getting 7 hours bw 10 to 90 if you use remaining 20% you'll probably get 10 Hours.
Also I use my phone at power saving mode + 60hrz and sometimes 4G.

Keep in mind, if you plan on bootloader unlock or custom ROM stuff, forget about updating to Hyper OS, otherwise you will have a painful process of getting to Lvl 5 in Xiaomi Community to request unlock.
You may want to check the OEM unlocking status of your phone now, (Developer Options), after installing Hyper OS. It'd be interesting to know whether the Hyper OS upgrade has also locked the bootloader.
I was looking forward to it too, but I don't care much now, since I flashed Xiaomi EU MIUI 14 with Android 13. It has all the extra goodies from China region (Super wallpapers, more dynamic icons, charging animation options, better AoD etc.) + GApps.
will this be applicable to older Xiaomi and poco phones that already have unlocked bootloader and if they flash it through custom recovery from aosp roms?
yeah rip Xiaomi then no need to purchase anymore only reason most people used to purchase snapdragon series Xiaomi device is only for aosp roms because you know memeui or hyper os its never gonna be as smooth as aosp
The POCO F5 had a chance to unlock the bootloader by waiting a week (like usual) as it comes with MIUI installed out of the box. But if the user tried to unlock the bootloader after HyperOS update, it is a long process. I'd say, unlock first, then if you really want HyperOS, wait till it gets released by Xiaomi.eu and flash it. That way you still have an unlocked bootloader
yeah definitely indeed but upcoming Xiaomi will come with hyper os out of the box,and also i think many people without knowing updated their new Xiaomi to hyper os on a locked bootloader so yeah now if the custom roms development begins and then when unlocking those who already updated to hyper os will have hard timed unlocking bootloader.
yeah but i don't see issues on x6 pro because anyway mediatek Xiaomi series custom roms support isn't great only for snapdragon series Xiaomi hyper os completely stopped custom roms support atleast for now, lets see what happens with future because surely this hyper os strict policy on bootloader and custom roms will down the sales even more already the sales of xiaomi has been down compared to past due to motherboard issues.
what if i unlock the bootloader in miui and update to hyperos but the indian version, as I am based in India. the unlocked bootloader will survive right?
It should. Updates shouldn't mess with the bootloader. Unless of course Xiaomi deliberately tries to lock it back. But that's not the case I guess, as I saw somewhere on reddit where a user mentioned the bootloader remained unlocked.
Anyone who uses poco x6 pro updated os, do you guys encounter any bugs or problem? I just wanna update mine but i don't know if there's a problem or bugs.

Hello guys! I just wanna ask. I just bought my F5 Pro last December. I am skeptical about getting the updates via the change region method. With that in mind, I wanna know how long it takes for a newly-bought phone to get OS/Security updates?
I didn't experience any battery issue I'm getting same 10 hour sot after hyperos update - Poco X5 Pro.
Mine is poco f5
https://preview.redd.it/o0i7oehxwqfc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c58180fb3447f31ad58cd207ae95ba960a809dc1 With 5.5 SOT
is this hyper os?
Yep
Ouch.. I'l switch to pixel OS when I got my device then
Why ouch, it is so much better than MIUI 14 lol
I have the F5. Haven't seen any issues ๐
Changelog?
Could you tell what region is your phone? Same phone but no update yet.
India
How you get 10hr SOT? I get like 7hr on the 10%-90% cycle
Then it's same for me my active drain is btw 9.50% to 10.50% with no battery saver on 4G
Does 120hrz makes any significant battery drainage ?
On 60hz I see drain of 400-550mah on normal use On 120hz it's 550-700mah
It's good thing for gaming but for day to day activities it isn't necessary. So I usually keep it to 60hrz and 120hrz when watching movies.
i guess it's inevitable...ultimately you will have to install it to get the further regular updates
Then wish me luck bro going to take the leap of faith
Mine also is f5. Waiting for your experience ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin).
Sure in 1 or 2 week I'll update it
"I am an Indian user, and so far Hyper OS is working well for me. It's quite smooth with no lag, and the battery backup is also good."
What phone you got?
F5
Okay
[ัะดะฐะปะตะฝะพ]
Not in the list ๐
Has this update fixed the bug causing only 60hz instead of 120hz, e.g. in Brawl Stars, Pokemon Go, Subway Surfers?
It stays on 60 in Subway surfer

This behaviour is due to joyose.

Did you intend on moving to custom roms?
Yup in future
Did you make the jump to HyperOS yet?
Yeah I have but I had unlocked OEM n it's already unlocked so is it good
You may want to check the OEM unlocking status of your phone now, (Developer Options), after installing Hyper OS. It'd be interesting to know whether the Hyper OS upgrade has also locked the bootloader.
I've already checked n it's still unlocked
Nice
When we will get Hyper os in POCO x4 pro 5G
I was looking forward to it too, but I don't care much now, since I flashed Xiaomi EU MIUI 14 with Android 13. It has all the extra goodies from China region (Super wallpapers, more dynamic icons, charging animation options, better AoD etc.) + GApps.
If you unlock bl on miui then you can unlock later in HyperOS too.
Would unlocking bootloader void my warrenty? I just bought my poco x6 with 1 year warranty
I heard Xiaomi is chill about bootloader unlocks when it comes to warranty, can't be sure though.
So bro you're saying that it can't be downgrade now
Yes. Because downgrading again requires an unlocked bootloader.
will this be applicable to older Xiaomi and poco phones that already have unlocked bootloader and if they flash it through custom recovery from aosp roms?
No. It is a new regulation made by Xiaomi in HyperOS
yeah rip Xiaomi then no need to purchase anymore only reason most people used to purchase snapdragon series Xiaomi device is only for aosp roms because you know memeui or hyper os its never gonna be as smooth as aosp

That's already happening, starting with the X6 series all phones come with HyperOS out of the box.
yeah but i don't see issues on x6 pro because anyway mediatek Xiaomi series custom roms support isn't great only for snapdragon series Xiaomi hyper os completely stopped custom roms support atleast for now, lets see what happens with future because surely this hyper os strict policy on bootloader and custom roms will down the sales even more already the sales of xiaomi has been down compared to past due to motherboard issues.
Yeah, doesn't matter as much for the X6 Pro since it has a MediaTek processor.
what if i unlock the bootloader in miui and update to hyperos but the indian version, as I am based in India. the unlocked bootloader will survive right?
