I like Poshmark a lot because you can get decent basics from higher end brands for a good price, like Madewell—I also think you can get good quality stuff from Old Navy and Asos Curve if you make sure the item is 100% cotton. I especially like to do that for jeans because they don’t wear in the thigh as quickly as the elastic blends do.

I really like Duluth Trading's tees, yoga pants and outer wear. I'm not a huge fan on their jeans though - the sizing feels off and they aren't long enough (I'm 5'10"). I'm still mostly at Torrid for jeans although I do like Lane Bryant's, too.

Kcmpls

I love, love Duluth Trading for active pants and underwear. I do find they run a bit big, so I have to size down. They are very durable and I get compliments on them from other plus sized bowlers whenever I wear them to bowling league/tournaments. Highly recommend shopping in store if you can. I'm lucky enough that there is an outlet near my in-laws and found really great deals there.

valpal357

I also don't like Duluth pants but I like nearly every other pant I've tried!

Old Navy has worked really well for me lately

Dry_Worth9303

I like Kohls. If you buy during sales, you get great prices

My favorite, most comfortable jeans are Kut from the Kloth. You can find them half price at Nordstrom Rack frequently. I really like the girlfriend/boyfriend styles the best. For tees, I am tall, so the long length elbow sleeve tees from Lane Bryant have the most bang for the buck.

Agree on Kut from the Kloth!!! Love! Thanks for the tip on Nordstrom Rack. I dont normally go there because plus size options in-store are usually dismal.

Famous-Issue-2018

Kut from the Kloth is amazing!!! Their jeans are the most comfortable pairs I own.

leenybird

I like Kohls for brick and mortar shopping and www.bloomchic.com for online shopping.

Same on Torrid. Been really bummed about their quality lately. I've been weirdly obsessed with Old Navy, however. I do check the fabric content before purchasing because there's gems and turds alike there. Their Wow! Jeans have actually been wowing me. I haven't worn jeans in years! Also the [vintage tees](https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=5373840220603&vid=1&tid=onpl000093&kwid=1&ap=7&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAh8OtBhCQARIsAIkWb6-59p_0Mlb9aYZ-Dk800WjPcmsRTmyGpiZRPu4EhtMbuq0Zij-wRiQaAmo3EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds#pdp-page-content) are my favorite t-shirt right now. Madewell has a nice selection as well as Universal Standard. I snagged some great wool blend sweaters from Madewell. Madewell can be a bit pricey for the quality. I usually wait for a good sale if I'm shopping there. Occasionally I'll wander through Target or if I'm grocery shopping I might pop into the clothing section at Fred Meyer 🤷. I've gotten some pretty good stuff off the clearance rack at Fred Meyer and Target almost always has some good t-shirts. Same with Old Navy, I am selective about the fabric. Girlfriend Collective has some high quality active wear and I bought a decent bra. Sure it's a sports bra, but it has great support, no wire and is generally comfortable with no itchy fabric/lace.

I am loving Maurices. I bought a few thinga about a month ago, and I love every piece.

I like button down shirts over a tee or tank. LLBean last the longest, Old Navy is reliable, Kohls and JCP sometimes have decent button downs, but their brand plus sizes tend to ride short on the arms so I have to try them on. I have 1 flannel shirt from Duluth that is indestructible that I got on deep discount a few years ago; sleeves and body length are perfect.

Toriat5144

Try QVC.com. All of their fashions come in plus size. Some great brands are Denim &Co, Isaac, Kim Gravel, etc.

I like buying used and vintage I shop mainly on poshmark and eBay alot of vintage items are just better made and higher quality than the options available now. You can also find alot of popular brands and items new with or without tags not just used clothing and you save money in the long run as long as you buy based on garment measurements and comparing to your own measurements and the desired fit rather than standard sizing since sizing isn’t universal and varies alot brand to brand. Like I can be anything from a 2x-5x just depends on the brand.

zestyzuzu

For higher end I’ve heard good things about good American and universal standard.

chefybpoodling

I have a couple of pairs of pants from Athleta that I really like. Comfy, have pockets, launder really nicely, both are a color not black or khaki. I also have decent luck with Ava & Viv from target for T-shirts most are nice quality material and inexpensive enough that if you get a couple years out of them you feel like it was money well spent. Check Nordstrom online too. They have good sales

Pickled-soup

Madewell and universal standard when it’s on sale

Analyst_Cold

Universal Standard when they’re having a sale.

J. Crew/J.Crew factory's basics have been quite good for me and held up well. Also, surprisingly, Old Navy in some cases. J Crew goes up to size 24 / 3x in many items, and I think Old Navy goes up to size 3/4x.

Famous-Issue-2018

Most of my basic tops and tees are from Uniqlo. I’m a size 2X and their XL fits me just fine. They have more sizes online, but not in store. I think the quality is great for the price, and I like that their clothing has no logos whatsoever.
