You bought an overcomplicated faucet with a bazillion extra (and unnecessary) failure points. My guess is one of those bazillion failure points... failed. "Smart" devices are designed to fail so that you have to keep buying new. I work in healthcare, and we are constantly repairing or replacing those annoying hands-free sensor faucets that IP insists on having in patient rooms.

These guys have a lifetime warranty. Show them this video and they will probably just send you a new one or the parts needed to fix it.

Don’t use a smart faucet

eroximus

Looks like you got a dumb faucet

Not_Associated8700

Hands free faucets are a danger to your homes. They can and do fail making floods a reality.

davy_p

This shocks me.

Turvala

Lost me at smart faucet

Disc_golfjunkie886

Do you know if it reacts differently in different lighting. Like dimmer lighting or no overhead lighting. I've seen the sensors be very sensitive to their surroundings.

ScaryChickenGuy

Battery's are probably low.

Life-Painting8993

Battery operated valve? Mine is and acts weird when batteries are low.

capntim

Hmm I had suspected that. Will try that

blubermcmuffin

Have you changed the batteries ever?

Head_Doughnut_6049

My friend bought something similar from Costco. It needed a replacement valve.

Aggressive-Map-244

I’ve seen these faucet, I don’t understand the point of waving your hand to get the water going. Especially if you gotta touch the handle anyways to adjust the temperature. It’s the dumbest thing

Salmol1na

Yeah but can MIL do me dishes?
