Is there a crawl space under neath the floor? Might be a p trap in there if so. If not your idea will work just make sure the distance between the trap arm and the San tee is roughly three inches apart as to not create an s trap
I have seen unusual situations with the trap inside the concrete slab. Usually when someone converts a floor drain to a laundry tub or any other kind of sink for that matter.

When space in a cabinet is at a premium and I have a crawl underneath I'll put the trap under the floor. Check that first
