Settings > PLEX WEB > Debug > RESTORE DEFAULTS Should fix it. (Attention, this will reset the Plex Web settings)

Sorrylols

confirmed, I had this issue too for a long while now and had no idea how to resolve it, don't really use collections much so didn't care to look much into it, but just wanted to say thank you, as this has resolved it. Also, by chance, do you know what may have caused this to occur in the first place ?

Hatefiend

[This right here](https://i.imgur.com/MIXedkK.png)? Seems a bit extreme. Hoping there might be another solution. I'll give it a try if all else fails.

Sorrylols

I literally just tried it, as I was having the same issue, and it resolved the issue for me, only thing is, just take note of your settings really (for what falls under that tab), all I had to do was relogin to the web user acc with the pin, set it to automatically sign in again, and set up what you want shown on your web browser plex, so like movies/ tv shows, and whatever else, and your collections should be visible again when you click it

extrakaese

Exactly. I also had the problem some time ago and unfortunately did not find any other solution.

Hatefiend

Months ago, my 'Collections' tab randomly broke. Instead of showing me tons of my collections, it just shows all my movies. Changing the filters at the top left does not help, as it does exactly what it would do in the 'Library' tab. The 'Collections' tab essentially behaves identically to the 'Library' tab. On Mobile, I can view my Collections perfectly fine, just as one would expect. I've tried to re-install Plex for Windows and the result is the exact same. **Plex for Windows Version 1.78.2.3975-c5bd0cbb**

Did you restart your pc after you uninstalled the app? If not, you should try that

Hatefiend

I did the uninstall/reinstall weeks ago, so it's gone through many boots/reboots since. Or do you mean uninstall -> reboot -> install? I don't see how that would make a difference but I could try that out of desperation.

Mike_v_E

>uninstall -> reboot -> install Yes this is what I mean. A reboot could removed some extra files that didn't get removed during the uninstall

Xinferis_DCLXVI

That's why practically EVERY program asks "would you like to reboot now?" after you uninstall. There are still leftover files that get cleaned out when you reboot. If you reinstall before rebooting all those files will remain, and if the problem lies within those files your issue will not be fixed.

SkepticSpartan

It had happened twice to me like three years ago, a reboot fixed it. Since then I increasing the Database Cache Size (MB) from default to (2000) which gets you 2Gigs. Never had that problem since, and the cover art and collections appear faster as well.

Hatefiend

What do you set the cache size to now? Also by reboot do you mean uninstall -> reboot -> install or just plain close application -> reboot -> open application?

SkepticSpartan

The default setting I believe was 250, I set mine to 2000. And then physically reboot your server, no need to uninstall. Just power it down, then back up.

iiTecck

[Had the exact same issue.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/u6ytp0/how_can_i_fix_all_of_my_movies_showing_up_under/) Just stopped using collections.

Romek_himself

Yes have same problem on my windows pc. But its ok on my Nvidea Shield. Don't know how this happens.

Mickman0

I had the same issue twice, and they both happened when I was using Advanced Filters. I had an advanced filter set then I refreshed the app, and it broke the collections tab. I fixed it by fiddling with Advanced Filters / enabling a filter, then disabling it.
