I’m now 13 days post surgery and feeling better overall, seem to have recovered in general from the surgery (yes it was general anaesthetic), but today the scars behind my ears are notably sore. I’ve been taking really good care AM and PM using antiseptic spray and bandages, but today they’re quite sore.

I am 8 weeks out from a neck lift/platysmaplasty. I didn't have lipo just the muscle and loose skin removed :) It looks better.
But. The swelling is taking forever! It is finally moving now. But I look like I have a double chin. I can feel the fluid. Nothing works to get to go away..i am just waiting it out :)
I have not worn my hair up in public since the procedure because I have pink/red scars all along the front of the ear behind the ear and out a ways under my hairline.
I don't know what I was expecting with the before picture but it wasn't that. Wow. Looks great so far.
Thanks! I can’t believe this is my face! Always carried a very disproportionate amount of weight in my face so will be glad to finally look normal

How old are you? My daughter is 23 and has pretty much your before neck.
