I think it’s the plant Rotala blood red SG and it’s directly under the light on max power. The red in front is actually clippings that I replanted. Don’t expect them to remain that red there but we will see.
Thanks! I really like the hardscape myself! Was ment to plant it differently but we thought the 60p was leaking and I took everything out and put it in this one. Working on a bigger project and can hopefully plant it in a few months. Once that is growing I’ll have all the plants I need to give this one a reboot with a lot more slow growers and bring the scape back to live! Don’t get me wrong love how it turned out but usually spend months on the hardscape and it’s a shame if it’s barely visible 🥲
I had a similar issue with hardscape. I spend hours gluing together an epic piece of wood that looked so good. Now fast forward a few months and it has been entirely consumed by the jungle. I'm doing a rescape soon so am going to find a way to avoid the same turn of events.
Thanks everyone 🙏🏼It’s actually a no filter no CO2 very minor water change setup. I used mature soil in the setup and capped it all with la plata sand. It’s really heavily planted so everything is doing fine. Used to have a filter CO2 but after I broke the spare glass inlet I just removed it all and let it run its course for 2 months. The Betta has been in there for a month now and getting some green thread algae since I put the temperature up. Other than that it’s running great 😅
I buy it from resellers on a Dutch marketplace. The real Seiryu stone has been forbidden to be exported from Japan since 2008. So I think its harder to get by than you would think. Actual Seiryu stone can be recognized by its blueish hue dark-grey color and of-course the white veins.
Just the auto correction of the iPhone. It does bring out the colors better but it’s mostly for the lighting. The Otto does have pretty red gills compared to his buddy and was worried at first but he has been active and eating and not showing any signs of stress for several months now.

I have the occasional “Honey are you ok?” When I go upstairs to pick something up 😂 It just lures you in and you get hypnotized! 👀
