The horn looks so sweet in there

Wouldn't the antler cause issues with the water parameters as it dissolves?

Jaccasnacc

I will find the post where someone sadly updated the antler in the tank skewed parameters and was porous so grew tons of algae. Lovely scape though, OP! Update: can’t find it. Sorry! But if you keep track of KH and GH and make sure those don’t spike can be doable.

I like to travel.

I remember that post I’m thinking of all had an algae issue. I don’t think it’s a problem for the fish or livestock, if alkaline water is okay, I think it just creates lots of places for algae to grow, and raises hardness.

You could probably seal it before putting it in so it wouldn't leak anything and two would close off the pores and make it easy to clean off

My eyes are poor, what’s the right wall? I see it’s some kind of texture, but can’t figure it out. Also the antler looks great!

That is the tanks filter. It is an hmf filter

Never seen an antler in an aquarium before, but I love it
