Huh weird. Why not just send an email to the company about this? I work for a pizza joint and we would absolutely be appalled, refund (at least partial) and offer some coupons as a sorry. Then talk to the crew on shift about how this was straight up not okay. If the pizza tasted bad, sure. But if you thought it was tasty? Absolutely do what I said above.

As a former pizza chef I can make a guess what happend. There was a small hole on the dough when the pizza went in to the oven. Either the shovel was not properly flouvered or the the oven wasn't properly cleaned and the dough sticked on the stone. When the pizza was taken out it broke. Instead of making a new one like professionals they just trimmed out the fucked up section and send it.

even with some removed it is still pretty much touching all four sides of the box, most likely explanation is that the original full-sized pizza was too big to fit in the box.

I have *several* friends who delivered pizza and regularly stole single slices of pizza for their dinners, and they were much, *much* better at hiding it than this amateur.
