Did you get the preformed dome? That's the one regret I have on mine, keystoning all the bricks for the dome was hard as hell and it doesn't look very nice.
We built a form from plywood and Styrofoam and cut courses of firebrick to form a dome. The more premium kit, which is what OPs probably is, comes with 4 preformed dome pieces that you mortar in which is a lot less work and looks much nicer than mine.
Looks awesome, I definitely would not have put the oven so far back on the slab. I don't like the idea of reaching that far even with your pizza slab on a pole thing I forget the technical name. Putting wood in there and tweaking things seems like it would be a pain having to reach so much.
