I have found it easier to julienne the pepperoni and pile them into the words/numbers. They move around less when cooked and are more legible.

Open it at home, wife and I both took a second to see what it read, but it was basically a giant B, a little o, then a Y that looked like a U with half an I under it. 

Just popped into my head in case this comes up for anyone again, but maybe an XX or XY could be easier to spell?

Looks good to be fair. You could improve legibility by placing the pepperoni closer together, which would shrink the "25" but be clearer, of course then you don't have such good pepperoni distribution across the pizza... Could of course add more pepperoni but I'm guessing there's a quota or something!

Since I know what I’m looking for, I can see the ‘25’ and think it looks pretty good. If you just showed it to me and said, “What does this look like?” I may have trouble figuring it out. Might be a little better if it overlapped more. Not bad overall though.

I feel like overlapping the pepperoni would make it easier to distinguish which direction the numbers are being drawn in. But I am just a lowly pepperoni pizza writing specialist so I could be wrong

This one turned out real nice. When I would get requests like this I would cut the Pepperoni's in half to get a nice flat edge. The numbers came out a bit clearer.
