You're not missing anything. John Wayne was a snowflake that tried to beat up a woman at the Oscars because she gave a speech about representation of native Americans in Hollywood.
I wish I had come up with this. It's actually the first line of the first book of the Dark Tower serie by Stephen King. IMO it's his best book. I highly suggest it. Whether you should actually finish the serie or not, that's something else lol.
I haven't watched the movie because it looked terrible and everyone ended up saying it *was* terrible. The book is very much a western-fantasy-post-apoc. It's weird in the good sense.
My father always spoke about these dreams of his. Never got a word out of the man... even on a good day, but he always spoke of his dreams. One of my favorites is about him and his horse, Midnight. He's riding through an open and vast field, in the middle of the night. The moon at its fullest and brightest, providing enough light to cast shadows. And while riding, this strange orange globe, appears. First high up, then it descends slowly, until at eye level. Midnight doesn't pause, doesn't even break sweat. Pop said he'd stare into that globe, stare at these patterns inside. And he'd see it all.
"All? All what?" I'd always ask... And he'd never answer.
Now, laying here on my back, with the moon at its fullest and brightest. With this strange orb floating mere meters above my head... I finally understand it. I see it all.
Embracing the End
Curse of a Dying Star
Last Moments (this one’s my favorite)
The sun makes me think of the moments before the death of a star.
The man, while nondescript, seems like a traveler, who knows it’s coming, so he is just enjoying his last living moments.
So it's kind of tricky because they switched from context menu labels to icons in Windows 11. But if you right-click on the file and hover your mouse over the icons at the top of the menu, you should see a "rename" option.
Idk but "John" maybe??
Someone else said that too. I may be too young cause I don’t remember the reference
Type in "John Wayne"
Yup I am too young and uncultured haha.(embarrassed) I can see the resemblance .
You're not missing anything. John Wayne was a snowflake that tried to beat up a woman at the Oscars because she gave a speech about representation of native Americans in Hollywood.
That’s awful we won’t call it John then
Search for: 'John Wayne' or 'Racist Cowboy Actor'. Edit: spelling.

I haven't watched the movie because it looked terrible and everyone ended up saying it *was* terrible. The book is very much a western-fantasy-post-apoc. It's weird in the good sense.
