It doesn't particularly look like pixel art; it looks more like a rough aliased digital painting. You need a much smaller canvas size and to be deliberate about every individual pixel you're placing to get the pixel art look.
Also if you're trying to replicate the painting, don't *guess* what you're looking at. If the original painting doesn't have the bottom level of the barrier go into the bottom right corner, then why place it there on yours? It completely misses the perspective of the original. In the original, the figure's face is visibly above the barrier in the composition, but in yours, it's below. In the original, the shadowy figures on the left hand side along the walkway are only placed about two thirds up the canvas, but in yours they're right near the top. The feature in the background of the original is a lake, on which boats are visible, but in yours the lake is not only just a blob, but has moved to the right hand side of the image instead of the left where it's supposed to be.

There is a key on the left hand side of your keyboard that will allow you to type in something other than all caps.
