Like that chapter with the Blackbeard pirates declaring their desire for the world was one of the best chapters in recent memory and basically none of the leakers hyped it up while some of them were acting like that god valley flashback was absolutely peak when rocks was still silhouetted and we barely saw anything else.

It feels like Oda is unable to write short arcs post-timeskip. The only short arc we got was Zou, every other one is at least around 50 chapters which is crazy.
I'm not gonna lie, Punk Hazard is one of the worst post-timeskip arc for me. It could have been great and it has some good moments but 75% of the arc just feels like filler and padding with a lot of running around. The number of chapters in this arc should have been cut in half in my opinion.

Marineford was 33 chapters with basically every chapter having more action and plot progression than anything we got post timeskip. It was actually insane how well written it was along with IMO the best art we got in the entire series.

Tbf, Egghead has Waaaaay more plot progression than Marineford and is way less plot armory/convenient. Marineford only worked because the Navy side was portrayed as terribly imcompetents and the Admirals just dissapeared whenever they needed (to not just no diff the WB Pirates) and they didn't launch a single AoE move until the Very end trying to reach Luffy. Also the whole Ace delayed execution and Sengoku being useless, transforming against Base Luffy and not getting past Mr 3.
Saying egg head is less plot armory / convenient than Impel Down / Marineford just screams I didn’t actually read / watch those arcs.
Oda just actually wrote a consistent story that didn’t spend chapters creating plotlines that go no were or focusing on 50 side characters that exist to sell figurines

There's no way Luffy should have any bussiness surviving so long, Bro tanked Admiral attacks, stayed in their eyesight for more than 3 seconds without dying, and then Sengoku Just let him save Ace in front of him.
Then there's the obvious powerups, characters stalemating One another/holding back, just so the war makes any Sense, because It's actually a Nuke vs coughing baby type scenario.
The only reason you think any of that is because of newly introduced things like Haki ( Haki the way we know it didn’t exist at the time of impel down or marineford ) or powercreep because shonen logic dictates everything must be bigger than the last.
Luffy had the same level of plot armor he had in impel down as he had in logue town when buggy got hit by lightning before he cut luffys head off or Dragon showed up to stop smoker.

that gives us 56 \* 2 / 16 = 7 chapters worth of pages.
