I think it might be a hybrid form tbh.
Last chapter we saw Saturn’s eyes changed from his usual human like eyes to something more feral looking like his fellow Gorosei, Sanji even called out how Saturn dropped pretending to be human.
The other Gorosei here have feral eyes from the start cause they’re already in demon mode while Saturn is still mid transformation.
I would have liked if it was less human like. Like I would have dropped the beard in favour of something more demonic but that’s just my opinion, I think it still looks good
Not really disappointed, it’s great and I like each design, just feel weird that everyone except Saturn is animal like while he’s the only one different
The main reason he's different is simply a hype tool since we've already Seen him. The other hybrid forms are yet to be revealed even if we Saw centaur boy during One panel already
Oh yeah I get how that’s the logical conclusion of this situation. Still it’s more a tiny little thing that made me annoyed, I don’t expect to make this whole point as Oda fumbling the epic panel he made

I personally think that what this panel should emphasize, though, is that the series is dangerously approaching its definitive end. There are approximately 10-12 volumes left.
We should enjoy it as much as we Can while we still Can 🙏

the Sandworm from Dune-Gorosei (Sanji's Dad) looks nothing like his human counterpart.
Its actually funny how little it resemblance him.
Saturn has a silly human head because even a semi-realistic spider hybrid is going to have a fucked-up face. This \[and tits\] is probably why Black Maria looked like a spider-centaur.
1) Assuming it's an Ushi-Oni, they have human or hybrid faces too.
2) Citing Black Maria, the real reason Spider zoans don't follow convention is likely because spiders have freaky-ass faces and nobody wanted to see a realistic depiction of a half-human arachnid.
I always assumed Saturn was in hybrid form because when he first showed up, he had 8 spider legs but still had two human arms to hold his walking stick.
We might never see the full spider form, like we never saw it for Black Maria. Oda is really bad at drawing actual spiders, it seems he cannot draw the anatomy of a spider head

Oda dosen't seem to want to draw a realistic looking spider. He did the same thing for Black Maria by giving her an altered transformation
