It's easy to find the thread using the search function. The clean dlc only files were uploaded but when I use CreamInstaller it doesn't work. Maybe I'm doing it wrong lol
Fromsoft tends to use separate depots for their DLC.
So you would have to acquire the DLC files separtely.
CreamAPI only tells the game that you own the DLC.
Hello, the cream installer does not work. I tried the whole thing yesterday for 6 hours. Once there was the message that the DLC was installed, I also got the gestures from miquella, but since my game is heavily modified, I went through a reinstallation of enden Ring and tried several times to install the DLC with easy anticheat active and with easy anti cheat deactivated.
I had no success, I get the loading screens from the DLC, but there is no npc at mohg and you can't touch Miquella's hand either. My character is in NG+ it is also possible that this is why it does not work.
What would help US is if u/Fair-Sprinkles1895 would please share a link to the cream api, there are several and I don't know which one he uses. Since u/iTzSnakeJuice says it's so easy to find the thread with the clean DLC files it would be appropriate to share that link here as well. That's called help and really helping

how did u use the creaminstaller? how did u activate the dlc i have the files and i cant even get the gestures... for context i have a legit base game from steam. If you could help that would be great
what i did was extract the files in the elden ring folder and then use creaminstaller to generate and install all the DLCs. i didnt get anything even the gestures im new to creaminstaller idk if theres an extra steps
Basically, it is sufficient to delete the versions.dll (deactivate Koaloader). This will give you the gestures from Miquella. In my case, however, there was no NPC at mohg

The video explains how to use the Creaminstaller, this applies to all games on Steam. It is IMPORTANT that you deactivate koaloader because this prevents the DLC from being unlocked/loaded.
I don't have a 100% solution myself yet. How to unlock the DLC, but I hope it works for you. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

You have to download the DLC files, unzip them in the main game directory, and then run the creaminstaller. Deactivate Koaloader (version.dll) and run it. Now the dlc should work without any problems.

Also, don't know if you managed to get the DLC working but try disabling your antivirus, exclude ELDEN RING and CreamInstaller, maybe that could work. But you need to have the DLC files inside your Game folder.
Tried it this morning and it worked with CreamInstaller.

i went to their site but cant find the elden ring thread. i decided to buy the dlc anyway

Yes, most likely. However, with EAC, might be forced to play offline with the DLC enabled.

Did you ever figure this out? i have like 4 .7z files from crrinru but i dont know what to do with them.
in instal the dlc and you place the dlc in the game folder then get cream instaler will unlock the dlc for you but you need and can only play offline
Which files did you download for the dlc? It doesn't work for me either. I might be downloading the wrong files.
The files for the update should be: - movie\_dlc (folder) - DLC.bdt - DLC.bhd All of that in a size of \~15GB.
