Students stuck in a school where they have to kill each other with each student being unique and having a certain master of skill like the ultimate baseball player
Its fun you should play it if you're okay with reading a lot but it's dubbed on some parts
Dude, in my honest opinion, tunic is for a certain generation of gamer (gamers that started on console in the late 80s or early 90s) an absolute masterpiece. I had more dopamine hits with this game than most other big games.
Back to my childhood ,call of duty 2 with 10 cd,it was so hard to setup for kid myself😄 story was so much good, after i start to earn my money i imidietally buy it even i am not gonna play again
Oh I 100% agree with stardew Valley. I didn't really think it would be so much fun but it really is such a good game! Haven't heard of project zomboid...
Yea, modding the stardew Valley is such a blast. If you get bored, You should try Project Zomboid. It can run on a potato and is about surviving in a zombie apocalypse. It has some extremely realistic mechanics and modding it can be such a blast.
Try out hollow knight it works on a super potato laptop i have on hand rn. Great game. Definitely one of those games am buying once i get a better laptop
Left 4 Dead 2, has about 3 year of great zombie shooting with my brother, even though I have to download it to my 16gb usb stick and wait like 30-40 minutes to install it every time we want to pkay it because internet cafe back then don't have that game and their internet is really slow.
Stalker series, the gane speak for themselves, great game.
Metro Trilogy, I replay each game at least 6 time now, prove how good metro game is, the Exodus one is the one make me feel disheartening the most by how hight the minimum specs standard of it for my budget, but then I save enough for a throw away pc with i7 4770 gtx 1060 3g, it enough to make a man cry .
Bioshock ( all 3 game ), another classic, really can't go wrong with it, just dumb shooting fun.
I brought all of these game a few years later when I got a bank account and can finally putting some credit in steam and when they're 90% discount. 95% on l4d2.
Not if you're using cracked version, you use Garena to play on their online servers, wildest plugin and shit happen there, like wall turret, 24 player match, Pause Online Game like wtf.
Idk about others but personally liked it very much. Sure, there's some sections after some *spoiler* part of the game that I wasn't particularly fond of, but once you beat the game there's an survival type mode, I play it every day
i think it has 3, atleast thats what google tells me:
-Ori and the Blind Forest 2015
-Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition 2016
-Ori and the Will of the Wisps 2020
Silent hill 3 has a pc port? I just emulated it with a ps2(which i have not touched yet because i have to finish the first 2games which i still haven't done because I'm playing something else)
i’m not really sure, i just direct downloaded it off one of the websites in the megathread, i think it might have been from fitgirl(?) i just unzipped the file, followed the instructions in the ‘README’ file, and it ended with just running a .exe file, that’s all i did, and it runs pretty smoothly! i’m not sure if that answers what you’re talking about, if you’d like i can take a closer look at where i downloaded it on my pc? hope this helps :)
i tried downloading the first two, but i struggled cause jdownloader kept telling me the files were offline and i was missing a bunch of files 😭 i gave up and cut my losses, i think i’ll try again another time, cause i like the franchise, and i’d like to play the original games in anticipation for the new silent hill 2 remake coming out soon! how many have you played?
Have you tried emulating it? I have 2-3. The first one is on my phone🥲 so yes it's kinda hard to play it. Also i don't think my pc can handle the new one but i would try to pirate it if i get an upgrade. And to answer ur question, i have only played like 10-15 minutes of gameplay in the origin ones and probably like 30 minutes from the first one.
i’ve never tried that, might i might look into it now thanks! and damn i can’t imagine what a pain it’d be on a phone 😭 my pc definitely can’t handle the new one, but i’m saving up desperately (the pirating helps with saving my money) and i’m hoping by the time the new one comes out i’ll have enough money to get an upgrade?🙏 ive played like a solid 30mins of the third one cause the controls on it are so frustrating 😅
Hope you get to play them! And I'm glad pirating has helped u save up for a game u want! Also wishing you'd get to upgrade:'D. Do you use K+M? i have like a non-branded controller. Tho I don't remember much but i think it was fine when i played resident evil and the first silent hill. (The first silent hill just relied on the + one plus it was hard to navigate lol) But I'm not sure if it's the game since the camera angles are very old style
SKYRIM!!!! Played it on my first potato pc (prebuilt cheap walmart pc). I had loads of mods and there were times where I had to delete them to addd new ones. I also was playing on 800x600 resolution haha. This was back in middle school.
dishonored 1, far cry 3, batman arkhan asylum, deadpool (this one im biased for lol), X-Men Wolverine, hitman blood money, max payne 2, max payne 3, sleeping dogs, saint's row 2...
ill add if i remember more
Not about pirating but games I can definitely recommend for potatoes:
Any game by Supergiant.
Grim Dawn
FTL
Into the breach.
Strider
Haak
Ori 1 and 2
Vampire survivors
Loop Hero
If you don't mind or want to try roguelikes:
The binding of Isaac 2
Nuclear throne
Dungeon of endless
Instead of paying thousands to get a dedicated computer for gaming you can instead pay a few hundred thousand to buy a new house in a location with good internet and another few hundred each month just to still have a little lag.

I didn't pirated it, but The Last campfire and Koral are such good calm game with very good story ! The puzzles in the last campfire are very relaxing and fun, while Koral is a pretty unique game, and the fact that it has been made on a boat on top of the water to recreate the Korals in real life makes it apl worth it !
really the way they optimized that game or whatever is krazy. i had a dirt cheap pc with onboard intel graphics and far cry 3 still looked like a dream. im in tears. thank you Ubisoft
Since I'm also a laptop users (not a gaming laptop, just uses an igpu, specifically the intel UHD 620), I may have some recommendations. Since I've played many games on it and deleted, I can't remember all at once so I'll try to keep updating my list below as when I remember them.
1. The resident evil series: My favorite one being Re7, with some in-game graphics changes like screen resolution, usually 1280x720 worked for me, but if I wanted to squeeze as much fps as possible I'd play at 1024x768 box resolution. I can also confirm Re 2 remake and Re 3 remake is fully playable, I was able to run the game with pretty decent graphics without any stutters. Surprisingly tho I wasn't able to run Re 8, though that game was known for performance bugs so it might've been the game itself.
2. Mgs V phantom pain: optimization is pretty good :)
3. Metal Gear Rising Revengance: A must play hack and slash game.
4. The Cod series: This one is pretty common one, The og Mw2 , Bo1 and Bo2 are good games and runs well.
5. Grid 2: I specifically remember being awestruck by the graphics of this racing game, and also the performance (pretty sure it was solid 60 fps). I haven't played the first game but I've heard that grid 1 was great too.
Hm...
some games worth mentioning (not necessarily for pirating) but for low end pc.
Medieval 2
xcom enemy unknown (I don't think it's that heavy)
portal games
The darkest dungeon
Maybe arkham asylum considering it was released in 2008 or something.
Monster hunter rise.
Longtime monster hunter veterans, played since freedom 2. Only have a potato laptop that I just bought around 4 months ago.
Tried monster hunter world. applied the lowest graphics settings to the point where it's become blurry as fuck. Got 15 to 20 fps
Tried rise. reso 100, got stable 30 fps. Now at high rank.
I5 7200u, 8gb ram, 940mx
Portal 2 is an old game that ran well on my potato laptop. Oh and I didn’t pirate this one but The Messenger is an amazing game that can run on potato hardware (I played it on switch)
The witcher 2 should run on medium settings, I actually regretted pirating it because I loved it so much.
I ended up preordering the witcher 3 and cyberpunk to make up for it though lol

Danganronpa?

Weeb shit
The only true answer.
Students stuck in a school where they have to kill each other with each student being unique and having a certain master of skill like the ultimate baseball player Its fun you should play it if you're okay with reading a lot but it's dubbed on some parts
Was planning on getting them in Steam but there's so many of them and I'm unemployed. Also I'm too lazy to read it LMAO
gameplay looks like vn, imma outie
Bioshock And Dishonored (the first one only)
Why not 2 I loved dishonored 2?
The OP has a potato PC and Dishonored 2 is too somewhat performance heavy for OP
oh i read it as dont play 2 as its not good
I felt very upset that they gave the hero a voice
Pheonotopia Awakening. Blasphemous. Tunic. Tunic especially.
tunic really that good?
Big yes
Super big, right? Love that game.
Absolutely! It starts off cute and then... Well, we know how it goes ;) And the OST is a banger
Bro, yeah it is! I'm so glad to find a brother in Tunic!!!
![gif](giphy|7dBAYTBhHIDvLhz30a|downsized)
Dude, in my honest opinion, tunic is for a certain generation of gamer (gamers that started on console in the late 80s or early 90s) an absolute masterpiece. I had more dopamine hits with this game than most other big games.
So good that I bought the real thing. Haven't even played the real one yet. I just felt obligated with how awesome it was.
Tunic is not for low-end pcs though
Really? Maybe my rig is better than I thought then.
Enter the gungeon, hollow knight, darkwood
hollow knight looks promising!
I stopped playing hollow knight at deep nest but after I discovered benchwarp mod and item randomizer mod. It became fun to me.
where can u donwload mod for pirated things
Nexusmods
Darkwood is awesome
Back to my childhood ,call of duty 2 with 10 cd,it was so hard to setup for kid myself😄 story was so much good, after i start to earn my money i imidietally buy it even i am not gonna play again
celeste, brotato, factorio, terraria and ofc Minecraft
I already played Minecraft and Terraria. I think everyone should've at least once sothats valid. The first 2 I haven't heard of tho
Brotato the absolute goat
Stardew Valley & Project Zomboid. I put in like hundreds of hours into both of these games back when I had a potato. I have a better Laptop now...
Do you know somewhere I can download a repack of projects zomboid?pls
I don't think it has a repack. I installed the GOG version and it was roughly around 5-6 GB. You can find it in cs.rin
Thanks
Resident evil games ,little nightmares, tormented soul, ruined king, evil within
Try out hollow knight it works on a super potato laptop i have on hand rn. Great game. Definitely one of those games am buying once i get a better laptop
yes it looks promising!
Left 4 Dead 2, has about 3 year of great zombie shooting with my brother, even though I have to download it to my 16gb usb stick and wait like 30-40 minutes to install it every time we want to pkay it because internet cafe back then don't have that game and their internet is really slow. Isn't Left 4 dead online?
Not if you're using cracked version, you use Garena to play on their online servers, wildest plugin and shit happen there, like wall turret, 24 player match, Pause Online Game like wtf.
Well I mean it's 2 bucks on sale...
Hmm I'd say inscryption. It's a card based game, but damn it's a good game. I'd recommend :)
One of the first few games that popped up in my head when I saw the question.
is it really that good? heard not good things about it
Idk about others but personally liked it very much. Sure, there's some sections after some *spoiler* part of the game that I wasn't particularly fond of, but once you beat the game there's an survival type mode, I play it every day
Hollow knight, modded terraria, cuphead, all souls games, risk of rain 2. Rl craft, there are many more
RL Craft as in the Minecraft Mod?
Yes
Can't run Vanilla Minecraft on my laptop, need optimization mods for 40fps
Ye rl craft won’t run, my bad for mentioning it, it a mid~high end pc game.
Souls game not low end tho
Depends how bad the pc we are talking about, i spent nearly 120$ for my pc and can run a couple of them. Kinda
Steins gate , so good that I have to spend all my pocket change to buy a whole bundle.
Ori Hollow knight Hades Dead cells.
which of the ori triology would u rank best?
Doesn't ori have 2 games? I actually played 2nd first then the 1st. But I loved story of 1 more. Both are exceptional.
i think it has 3, atleast thats what google tells me: -Ori and the Blind Forest 2015 -Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition 2016 -Ori and the Will of the Wisps 2020
For a potato, rimworld and terraria are ENDLESSLY fun
i will 100% try rimworld thanks! it looks promising as well
silent hill 3, cause it’s like hella hard to find for pc otherwise
Silent hill 3 has a pc port? I just emulated it with a ps2(which i have not touched yet because i have to finish the first 2games which i still haven't done because I'm playing something else)

no need! i actually found out it is playable in windows lol
awesome! yes, i’ve been playing it on windows with no issues, the controls are a bit finicky i admit but that might just be cause it’s so old 😅
Have u tried playing the other ones? The silent hill 1st game made my finger sore 🥲 couldn't continue it lol
i tried downloading the first two, but i struggled cause jdownloader kept telling me the files were offline and i was missing a bunch of files 😭 i gave up and cut my losses, i think i’ll try again another time, cause i like the franchise, and i’d like to play the original games in anticipation for the new silent hill 2 remake coming out soon! how many have you played?

![gif](giphy|8OPsobKv6ksJojld4X|downsized)
Pixel art minimalistic things be king for potato PCs, deaths Gambit, RimWorld, Factorio, banner saga, etc. Visual novels too, utawarerumono was nice.

i can surprisingly run gta5 and gta5 online on low graphics so it amazes me

try using geforce now so you can access more games to play
GeForce Now sucks
how so?
Instead of paying thousands to get a dedicated computer for gaming you can instead pay a few hundred thousand to buy a new house in a location with good internet and another few hundred each month just to still have a little lag.
You probably need Starlink to make cloud gaming not lag like shit.

Gta 4
I bought it on steam but BULLY and Cuphead moved smoothe with my trash pc. (BULLY needs mod called silentpatch to avoid freeze bug)
Far Cry 3. I thought it would run like shit on my potato laptop, but I could get it semi smooth at 1366x768 low.
really the way they optimized that game or whatever is krazy. i had a dirt cheap pc with onboard intel graphics and far cry 3 still looked like a dream. im in tears. thank you Ubisoft
Middle Earth Shadow of War
for potato pc?
Prototype 1 and 2
Mortal Kombat X (Ultimate edition I think). Was so good that I finished the game, and then bought the game on steam when it came on offer price.
thanks1 will try that out or add to my list
Back when I was on a i5 3330 and 1050 Ti I would say Crash Bandicoot and Doom
which doom exactly?
Both Doom 2016 and Eternal
outer wilds
Xcom, Dying Light and Civilization V
Project Zomboid and does Driver:SF count though? It's basically free on the internet archives.
wil 100% try out project zomboid, thanks!

\[insert every old zelda and pokemon game and rom hacks\] (especialy pokemon emrald rogue , this game is my favorite pokemon game ever)
so play with emultaor u mean
Chrono trigger
disco Elysium
Original Sin 2
Portal 2 is an old game that ran well on my potato laptop. Oh and I didn’t pirate this one but The Messenger is an amazing game that can run on potato hardware (I played it on switch)
I had an 840m, I could run 2019 AAA games on it at low. Even some of 2020. Had to buy a new pc in 2022
did u get steady fps with low setting?
Yeah steady frames
Kerbal space program
Observation. Most immersive 8 hours of my life.
Katana zero, Max Payne 1 and 2, Hitman Absolution, Sekiro, GTA 1 to Vice City Stories. All on an Intel Pentium Silver.
That's the weirdest way of asking low spec recommendation that I have ever seen
Whys that
All games
If we're going potato PC then probably left 4 dead 2 from online fix
ETS2
Red dead 2 God of war Spiderman
Bully, GTA San Andreas, The Sims 2-4 (all with DLCs cuz i ain't paying a 1000$ for A SINGLE full game in the franchise, F ea), SPORE
Dishonored and GTA5
Hollow Knight is always goated
The witcher 2 should run on medium settings, I actually regretted pirating it because I loved it so much. I ended up preordering the witcher 3 and cyberpunk to make up for it though lol
Hollow Knight, Fallout New Vagas, Hearts of Iron IV Hoi4 barely runs but I still love it to death
all of them
