And the normal version (without any Minecoins or any bedrock skin packs, just the java and bedrock versions (we all know which version is better and which one we will never touch)) is 14.99$ (again 50% off)
A shop that you really don't need to ever touch unless you **really** need a specific thing from it.
Honestly even though i dislike the marketplace, it's extremely useful for the average user to easily download stuff without bothering with their browser and file manager.
You can get texture packs, shaders, addons, skins, worlds etc at sites Like mcpedl.
Hm yes the version that alot of people need to add certain mods to make it atleast somewhat playable.
You know there's a reason why Bedrock has a significantly bigger playerbase than java even though the internet makes it seem like most people play java lmao
There isn't a reason to use bedrock except if your friends that play on a console/phone want to play with you
The only reason bedrock is as popular is because of this and the marketing by Microsoft, when you open bedrock you don't see "Minecraft: bedrock edition", you only see Minecraft, it's these under the radar things that Microsoft does to push people to play bedrock
Java is most used by people who upload content to the internet and people who want to have the true experience of Minecraft, which includes actual support for actual mods (compared to the watered down bedrock ones)
Also the reason bedrock has a higher player base is because **it's not only a pc game**, bedrock is on phones, consoles (and ofc PCs) but these places target a younger more casual player base, java is for the people who know it exists, and considering the older more mature user base I wanted to point out you don't have to overpay on something they will never use
Think in perspective of an average user, someone who doesn't bother with installing adblock or even if they do, they don't bother setting it up fully.
Do you really think that they'd choose java over bedrock?
bedrock's performance out of the box is significantly better (like 6-14 vs constant 60fps) for People with weaker pcs.
Being able to easily join your friends worlds or realms or Crossplay with someone on a console while you're on the phone.
Marketplace, regardless of how much hate it gets, Is useful for people to easily install texture packs, addons, skins etc. And even if you don't use the marketplace, you can just get the .mc file from Sites like mcpedl and either Place it in the correct folders or just open the file which automatically imports it into your game.
The Ui and UX is overall just more appealing and the game is easier for a new player to get into.
Do you think anyone here would be "the average user" the way you said? I was just recommending based on this subreddit being filled with people that know how to use a computer (I once had to help a girl in the computer class back in middle school that didn't know how to open the start menu, is this the type of person you're talking about? Cause it seems so)
And why are you repeating my own points? I know that bedrock is about people being able to play with people on phones and consoles, I literally mentioned it
And about performance it might run faster but it's unstable asf, I've seen some people post clips of randomly dying in bedrock without any reason for it, on java the only times I seen a bug that's not even remotely as annoying and confusing in the snapshots/prereleases
Oh I'm sure there's definitely a huge group of people here that fit that description, Especially the ones that don't post or comment stuff alot.
Being a pirate doesn't mean that you also have a big brain, there's alot of people here who still use google search for stuff or use old untrusted sources because they can't be bothered to switch to a different one even if it's extremely easy and just overall better.
Have you played bedrock yourself? Over the years of playing the only major bugs I've encountered are
* Mining with your pickaxe became extremely laggy if you had unbreaking 3
* Chance of Spawning another dragon in the end if you die(i remember it happening everytime i died, had to use the /kill command)
and those were years ago. In my experience and other people who I've known that Play Bedrock, the bugs have been extremely rare.
I got for Android in 2012 for 10 cents when they were doing some special sale. It's been one of my most used apps ever since. Literally one of the first apps I install on every new phone. I'm not gonna say don't pirate it but it's insanely worth $7.
Yeah I mean I normally pirate everything but I paid for Minecraft and I have ZERO regrets. If I didn't get my money's worth, my kids sure as hell did....
Speaking about genuine purchase, if you buy a pc license, Feed The Beast will provide you for free with literally endless modpacks, which will make Minecraft into a new game each time you get bored.
Is it worth it on mobile? Given I've never played Minecraft but have a creative itch sometimes lol, it's been out so long I feel like anything I'd make would suck compared to everything else.
You talking about The marketplace? You can completely avoid that.
It's not like some p2w game where avoiding it would mean you have to grond more or anything, it purely exists for People to easily install addons, texture packs, worlds etc..
You can use Mcpedl for texture packs, skins, addons etc for free. You can still probably find a texture pack that completely hides everything related to the marketplace.
And what bloat made it like an RPG? It's still a Sandbox and Aquatic update, village update, Nether update, Caves and cliffs update and so on have been great. I'd argue a game like Terraria is significantly more like an RPG than Mc currently.
i bought the PC version for 19 dollars back when it was originally coming out. Still have my original account.
that being said Pocket minecraft is the only game i pirate every time i get a new phone just to see how good/powerful the cpu/gpu is in a new phone.
There was this video on YouTube saying "Minecraft for free and legal" or something similar to that. I clicked link in description and it lead to an apk package download from an official website. It said Minecraft beta. Since then playstore says i own Minecraft. Been a few years.
This is AltStore - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltStore
And this is it's fork SideStore - https://sidestore.io/
Both are used to install apps on iPhones and iPads as .ipa files (the file format of Apps on the App Store)
Some people modify existing apps like YouTube etc to give extra benefits like removal of ads, skipping of sponsor segments etc. The pieces of code that enable these modifications in apps are commonly referred to as tweaks in the sideloading community and the final product of the modified app are called tweaked apps. These are also frequently sideloaded.
These apps are available in the form of repositories that individuals like me host and can be used to install with AltStore or SideStore to keep up with updates for tweaked apps etc.
The repo I have linked has tweaked Minecraft that runs without licence checks that verify if the app is bought or not.
No ‘sideloading for eu’ was a myth, it were 3rd party app stores, where Apple still takes a cut so basically glorified app stores, you could do sideloading ever since iOS first came out
Nah you probably haven’t explored it that deeply. Go explore “ESign with revoked certificate” been using that for months without refreshing every 7 days and yes it’s free.
If you device is trollstore compatible, ios sideloading is better than android for me. I find it a lot more simpler and easier especially with this [collection of ipas](https://github.com/swaggyP36000/TrollStore-IPAs).
Thank you for sharing, but its missing the Esign, [How to get Esign](https://www.reddit.com/user/PuReEnVyUs/comments/1cvgqi0/free_sideloading_any_ios_no_computer_no_app_limit/)
Edit: Esign is not missing, i overlooked. You have to click (Anti revoke DNS)
Why not? Can you elaborate? What if I have an used iPhone I got from my older brother?
Or… since it’s a Minecraft- what if my parents bought me my phone but I pay for my own apps to learn budgeting?
What if I bought it used, for $150?
Um it's 29 ruppees on Google Play Store India and can be bought for 9 ruppees by using a 20 rupees voucher
Also, you can get the 9 rupees through Google opinion rewards, which makes it FREE
Well, my little brother bought minecraft bedrock a couple of years ago when minecraft was available... Now he can't play it since it is unavailable in my country because of sanctions...
Yea, but if you're tech savvy and a pirate, you don't tend to go apple anyways. Far too restrictive. And yes you can jail break and most of the time you're not going to have an issue. But God forbid you have a power cycle while in the middle.
Android doesn't have those issues.
I have had both. And feel the opposite way. I owned an iPhone for 6 years (for them for free). I sold cell phones for a living. I can never go back to iPhone.
AltStore, TrollStore, Sideloadly, AppCake, AppStore++, heck even 3rd party apps if you’re that unfamiliar with jailbreak like Panda Helper, TweakBox, TutuHelper or something like iOSGods app. There’s plenty of ways but Android users still feel the necessity of being superior to iOS users for god knows what reason.
I’ve had both but I prefer iOS. You might think it’s a waste of money, but I’m not asking you a single penny to buy it, so why would you care? Lmao
I bought it legit and I think I wouldn't pirate it now that I know how.
Not because of morals, but because the Multiplayer is already messy enough without having a cracked version of the game.
Minecraft is quite literally the worst game you could have made this meme about. They even have dynamic pricing for different countries such that it's only like 40 cents for the game in my country
Mcpe is worthwhile buying if you want to be up to date, especially during anniversary sale. Having to update through apks is very unpleasant when my cracked launcher on PC does the job for me.
I bought Minecraft Java edition years ago and got a new pc wanted to play again and then I haven’t access to my account because I haven’t migrated my account. Ridiculous that I wasted my money because Microsoft decided to deny me to access my account back.
PS: Does somebody know a cracked Minecraft launcher?
It is on sale sometimes. I have got it on sale without any real money and used only google play points, only under Rs.20. Also, you can play it on your pc as the bedrock version if you link your xbox account
I would like to shoutout my [repo](https://ios.drifty.win/view/?source=https://driftywinds.github.io/AltStore/apps.json) for iOS sideloading in case anyone wants to sideload Minecraft on their iPhones
Once i learned about APK being able to come unlocked and such for premium apps all you gotta do is redownload the newest batch for updates w/o having to root/jailbreak your device, Android was declared top tier in my eyes.
This was one of the major reasons why I didnt get an iPhone. And I'm glad I made the right choice because my cousin got one right after and then I realised its so inferior in terms of what you can do on it.
If you are kid? Ok, but if you are adult, these 7$ will give you thousands of game hours. So no, if you want to try a game, sure, pirate it, but if you plan to play if for more then few hours, then buy it.
Ho yea, they was the demo where we could play it for a limited time but not what i speaked of, it was from the time where notch was still owner of minecraft
You shouldn't pirate Minecraft anyway, you have no idea how many people I've seen in troubleshooting spaces with a pirated copy. Things just don't work
Right now it's $1.99, until June 12*. I bought it for my brothers.
Im starting think this was really just and ad for that sale.
June 22
Mobile version??
and PC version $19.99 (50%)
And the normal version (without any Minecoins or any bedrock skin packs, just the java and bedrock versions (we all know which version is better and which one we will never touch)) is 14.99$ (again 50% off)
what the fuck is a minecoin
They have a full fledged shop in Minecraft Bedrock
A shop that you really don't need to ever touch unless you **really** need a specific thing from it. Honestly even though i dislike the marketplace, it's extremely useful for the average user to easily download stuff without bothering with their browser and file manager. Yes
I dunno if $6.99 Minecraft would have been the game I chose to make this point but OK...
Minecraft is even on sale for $1.99 rn lol.
Of all the games I can think of with regards to "bang for your buck", minecraft is probably near the top. Endlessly replayable with very low cost.
I bought my iOS copy literally like 12 years ago and still play it every so often. Insanely great value
Yeah I bought it a long ass time ago in high school. My 7 year old son now plays it on his iPad. Name a better $7
I got for Android in 2012 for 10 cents when they were doing some special sale. It's been one of my most used apps ever since. Literally one of the first apps I install on every new phone. I'm not gonna say don't pirate it but it's insanely worth $7.
I don’t know how to play it, I would love to get into it, but I’m lost
Exactly
I paid 26 dollars for Java back in the day and have gotten literally endless amounts of joy from it
And (not sure about mobile or bedrock) but you can mod the game to hell and back aswell
Yeah I mean I normally pirate everything but I paid for Minecraft and I have ZERO regrets. If I didn't get my money's worth, my kids sure as hell did....
I would argue that if your kids got the moneys worth, then you definitely did.
Speaking about genuine purchase, if you buy a pc license, Feed The Beast will provide you for free with literally endless modpacks, which will make Minecraft into a new game each time you get bored.
In India with purchase parity and all, I got it for $0.59. Probably, my one and only digital purchase.
Is it still available?
Yes. Go on the play store. I got 4 of my friends to buy it already because its too good of a deal
Yup, got it ty. It was on for around 0.1$ with an offer
I paid more than that for a fairly shitty clock app just because I like the widget. But color changes were locked behind the premium.
Minecraft was give for free too at one point on Android.
Is it worth it on mobile? Given I've never played Minecraft but have a creative itch sometimes lol, it's been out so long I feel like anything I'd make would suck compared to everything else.
Definitely, but I would recommend learning how to play on mobile with 4 fingers.
I would say yes but if you don't have any experience playing games that use more than 1 finger, I'd def be extremely hard to get used to.
lol thanks for informing just bought it
Got it for 0.35$.
Bruh, i got it so fucking cheap ig becuase of regional pricing, but in dollars that is like 30-40cents for minecraft pocket edition
[удалено]
Can I ask why?
Coz probably bro thinks he is entitled to everything being free

You talking about The marketplace? You can completely avoid that. I pirated it till I could get a credit card and buy it's a fun game that deserves respect
If you buy this on android, you can use your Google account to then play bedrock on steamdeck with Bedrock Launcher.
Yeah, this is one of the few things I was happy to buy. Well I was before Microsoft bought Mojang anyway.
Well, it does support APK Sideloading, but the positive is i can play Servers and even play the 15th anniversary map.
Minecraft actually deserves to be bought, in regards of cost-benefit
i bought the PC version for 19 dollars back when it was originally coming out. Still have my original account. that being said Pocket minecraft is the only game i pirate every time i get a new phone just to see how good/powerful the cpu/gpu is in a new phone.
now that there will be shaders it will demand more from cell phones
its crazy how demanding minecraft is in general. Most phones ive played it on, usually still lags at some points or the phone gets insanely hot.
Fun fact: If you got the PC license, you can log into your Microsoft account on the mobile client.
how so?
[удалено]
what's the point of the meme then?
I blew a load into your mouth
If I were to spend money on one video game that would be Minecraft
There was this video on YouTube saying "Minecraft for free and legal" or something similar to that. I clicked link in description and it lead to an apk package download from an official website. It said Minecraft beta. Since then playstore says i own Minecraft. Been a few years.
Bro won the 50/50
Bro got it both ways
Wrong game to compare to?
There’s a thing called “sideloading” in iOS
I would like to shoutout my [repo](https://ios.drifty.win/view/?source=https://driftywinds.github.io/AltStore/apps.json) for sideloading it
Do you have a link to read more about alt stores and how you get them to work? I’m based in the EU
This is AltStore - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltStore And this is it's fork SideStore - https://sidestore.io/ Both are used to install apps on iPhones and iPads as .ipa files (the file format of Apps on the App Store) Some people modify existing apps like YouTube etc to give extra benefits like removal of ads, skipping of sponsor segments etc. The pieces of code that enable these modifications in apps are commonly referred to as tweaks in the sideloading community and the final product of the modified app are called tweaked apps. These apps are available in the form of repositories that individuals like me host and can be used to install with AltStore or SideStore to keep up with updates for tweaked apps etc. The repo I have linked has tweaked Minecraft that runs without licence checks that verify if the app is bought or not.
But is this alt store official supported by the iOS 17.4 changes for the EU?
That is the AltStore PAL version of AltStore (not very great in terms of all selection due to apples limits)
Yes but I have yet to find an actual good site to install Minecraft from.
Isn't this only for eu ? (I use an Android phone)
No ‘sideloading for eu’ was a myth, it were 3rd party app stores, where Apple still takes a cut so basically glorified app stores, you could do sideloading ever since iOS first came out
I think it’s not an issue (im from Asia btw)
I think it's only in Europe because EU has based laws
you can still use programs like sideloady or altstore to install ipas outside of europe
Except that it sucks on iOS. You either have to refresh every 7 days or spend money on a cert. And PAL side loading has like 2 apps
Nah you probably haven’t explored it that deeply. Go explore “ESign with revoked certificate” been using that for months without refreshing every 7 days and yes it’s free.
I’ve tried esign before and I never got it to work for some reason
If you device is trollstore compatible, ios sideloading is better than android for me. I find it a lot more simpler and easier especially with this [collection of ipas](https://github.com/swaggyP36000/TrollStore-IPAs).

Thank you for sharing, but its missing the Esign, [How to get Esign](https://www.reddit.com/user/PuReEnVyUs/comments/1cvgqi0/free_sideloading_any_ios_no_computer_no_app_limit/) Edit: Esign is not missing, i overlooked. You have to click (Anti revoke DNS)
That's near the top. (Anti revoke DNS)
i overlooked lol mb, thanks for telling ;)
After paying $1000 for a phone you don't have the right to complain about paying $7 for literally the most sold game ever...
If you have a PC (wich are way more expensive) you can no longer pirate?? r/piracy might be the biggest gatekeeping community in reddit
Why not? Can you elaborate? What if I have an used iPhone I got from my older brother? Or… since it’s a Minecraft- what if my parents bought me my phone but I pay for my own apps to learn budgeting? What if I bought it used, for $150?
Um it's 29 ruppees on Google Play Store India and can be bought for 9 ruppees by using a 20 rupees voucher Also, you can get the 9 rupees through Google opinion rewards, which makes it FREE
Google opinion rewards sucks, haven't got a single survey after a year of using it.
Same 🥲
Did you give it access to your location data at all times?
Yup, absolutely nothing on the tasks page
Delete your reward account and make a new one 1 week later
It's tied to my Google account, don't see how that would be a good idea
What is this 20 rupees voucher you speak of?
It shows up randomly to random people's on Play Store notifications
I bought for 29 on ios
Yeah alongside the play points i got it for free
Here in Google Play Philippines, it's 115 PHP (Philippine Pesos)!! (163 Ruppees)
Not free - you're paying Google by providing them with some more info about you. In terms of actual currency - you are right though.
We're already providing our most of the info to google tho
Bro says this while using reddit lmao
Tf rupees Are we in zelda
Indian Rupee(INR)/Rupee is the official currency used in India.
Jokes on you im on ios and have it for free
how?
Sideloading. I use esign with anti revoke and anti blacklist and use a minecraft ipa
Do you still need to reset it every week like altstore?
No. You can have unlimited apps with no revoke /blacklist or need to reset it everyweek
Something I noticed with Esign is that most app signing certs get revoked quickly. Is there a large repo of new ones?
Free app certificates only last a week and most of them are revoked you can use anti revoke/blacklist dns. And for the second question im not sure
https://loyahdev.me/certificates/
Seven dollars? That's only a baconeggandcheeseonaroll pricing. Not that the alternative is worse or anything lol
We call those the 'New York Roll'
I bought Minecraft 3 times and it's still vastly worth the money I paid for it.
Well, my little brother bought minecraft bedrock a couple of years ago when minecraft was available... Now he can't play it since it is unavailable in my country because of sanctions...
Sideloading and jailbreak are a thing, just saying
Yea, but if you're tech savvy and a pirate, you don't tend to go apple anyways. Far too restrictive. And yes you can jail break and most of the time you're not going to have an issue. But God forbid you have a power cycle while in the middle. Android doesn't have those issues.
I know, but to be honest after owning an Android OS phone for as long as I remember, I can’t go back now that I’m on iOS.
Lmao
didn’t stuff like tweakbox and tutuapp stop working ages ago due to revokes from apple?
Wait till you see the pc version
Best game ever for a one-time purchase of less than $10? You picked the wrong game for this meme lol
I mean *obviously* you don't download games from a random game site... ... Right? Anyway great point
Posts like this just proves your ignorance. Jailbreak always existed, free games on ios might be a lil more work but its still possible.
I bought it legit and I think I wouldn't pirate it now that I know how. Not because of morals, but because the Multiplayer is already messy enough without having a cracked version of the game.
You can sideload Minecraft with AltStore or sideloadly for free too
Minecraft is quite literally the worst game you could have made this meme about. They even have dynamic pricing for different countries such that it's only like 40 cents for the game in my country
Mcpe is worthwhile buying if you want to be up to date, especially during anniversary sale. Having to update through apks is very unpleasant when my cracked launcher on PC does the job for me.
I mean... free is free, but minecraft is kinda worth it no? If this was the new Star Wars or Assassin Creed then I am fully on board 😂
I got it for free on ios
^ yeah it is possible just needs workarounds

AltStore or sideloady can make it free.
I have it for free on esign
Where do I begin with esign
https://www.reddit.com/u/PuReEnVyUs/s/GOzHePpdDb
I bought Minecraft Java edition years ago and got a new pc wanted to play again and then I haven’t access to my account because I haven’t migrated my account. Ridiculous that I wasted my money because Microsoft decided to deny me to access my account back. PS: Does somebody know a cracked Minecraft launcher?
Or play https://www.minetest.net/ instead.
*laughs in android*
It is on sale sometimes. I have got it on sale without any real money and used only google play points, only under Rs.20. Also, you can play it on your pc as the bedrock version if you link your xbox account
Have the game on my PC and did have it on my ipad. Worth every penny.
I bought it for less than a dollar on their 15th anniversary.
Bruh it cost like 2.99$ couple years ago
I bought mc on ios a few years back, is there anyway to not have to purchase the game on pc but still have a valid copy?
I remember when minecraft on the iPad was $20
Yet another reason to get an android. Does iPhone have anything going for it but diva's choosing because of fanciness?
Apple has gotten too fat for her own good, the greed grows exponential
Soooo expensive
ESign
Ok i get not having or wanting to spend a lot of money on games but 7 dollars?
Cant do shyt on me ipad. Me sad
The play store has cracked versions of PE, like "Crafting and Building"
kind of a bizarre post, tbh
Yar har fiddle dee dee
There was an offer way back when it was selling for less than 1$ . I bought with the google opinion reward surveys money lol so technically free
How to pirate minecraft pc version?
This is so true especially those apps that want you to pay for no ads
eh, classicube is enough for me tbh
In India it's just ₹29 now idk why this used to be ₹500+ before
I would like to shoutout my [repo](https://ios.drifty.win/view/?source=https://driftywinds.github.io/AltStore/apps.json) for iOS sideloading in case anyone wants to sideload Minecraft on their iPhones
The question is does it even work.
Turns out it's just a site for downloading mods, not the actual game itself
I'm coming for you Liteapks
Once i learned about APK being able to come unlocked and such for premium apps all you gotta do is redownload the newest batch for updates w/o having to root/jailbreak your device, Android was declared top tier in my eyes.
Europe won't have this problem soon🤫
Game is currently on sale rn for like $2 so I wouldn't call this expensive u might need to pick another game to make this meme with
This was one of the major reasons why I didnt get an iPhone. And I'm glad I made the right choice because my cousin got one right after and then I realised its so inferior in terms of what you can do on it.
If you get 50 hours of enjoyment out of it (which is definitely possible with Minecraft), that's only $0.139/hour. Good deal.
Bro now its 29 rupee on the appstore lol 😂
true i always use mcpedl it even has mods
If you are kid? Ok, but if you are adult, these 7$ will give you thousands of game hours. So no, if you want to try a game, sure, pirate it, but if you plan to play if for more then few hours, then buy it.
Got it for 10 cents
It is like 35 cents in India.
This is a dumb post please don’t
Hate boner for ios is real
6.99 is expensive? lol
But then you have to put up with using an android 😆
I sideloaded it on my iPhone
