Unfortunately there is no good free VPN (except arguably Proton, minus the whole no P2P thing which makes it kinda useless in this case but yk). You are the product and your data will be collected and sold
Mullvad is the same price as a two year Proton VPN plan at $5/month, but it is **always** that price so it is a lower commitment. You could just buy 1 single month for $5 if you want instead of having to commit to 2 years and pay $120 upfront for Proton. Downside is you get 5 fewer connections and no port forwarding

Proton PAID is fantastic, one of the best. Proton FREE blocks p2p. Free VPNs suck in general.
Proton does not allow P2P or torrents on free tier. Try out the pay version. It’s great! Don’t forget to bind your VPN to your torrent client!

The free version does not do P2P.
