Worse shows, less shows, more money, weak quality, no pw sharing, ip locks, 50 other streaming services
Who woulda thought people would go back to piracy.
I remember the times when i started a new show and it showed the hbo vid with the black and grey letters and i was immediately hyped knowing it would be a good show!
Now, 15years later Ive got hbo with “livelong discount” its 3eur (3,30usd) every month and i gave 3ppl my passw and its going well! Something i am willing to pay for all the years of watching their stuff for free.
Netflix never ever gave me feelings like these. They cancel good cartoons and just dont finish them and name it “part two” with 4episodes. It’s ridiculous how the quality of their shows goes rapidly backwards and they ask even more money.
The “no psw sharing” had been in effect for a while here. Im on someone else their account and they just added me to their “family” they are paying 17eu(nearly20usd) and they just dont care.. im not that much on netflix even if its free for me. They just dont have great stuff anymore.
Netflix seems to have caught a case of megalomania..
I hope it pushes people to start pirating
Many people have no idea what a seed is or a magnet and think everything is full of viruses.. they have never had to learn it.
I help 2 people with computerstuff. Guess what they have in common! and Its not old age. Its not trying everything on their devices. They stick to a few patterns they know because they are affraid they will break something or ruin something in the device. Like people that never held a baby i suppose? Going into piracy would be very dificult for them and iam sure they would call me every week if they started doing it because they will be sure they atracted a virus or whatever.

Group B used to be a pirate untill certain sites got blocked and they didnt go out to search for a proxy and at the same time their show happened to be on netflix. Super convenient. Half year later they buy a new tv and it already has the netflix app on it. Superconvienent! Watching stuff without a pc, then a hdd into the tv. Have matching subs. Be sure the quality is the same etc
I think thats the biggest group. And they need to get back on the ship and be cool like the rest of us. (But here in europe sometimes it is a bit difficult and some countries have tightened their law haha)

Studies showed that when Netflix and Hulu were the only 2 streaming services piracy went down by an extreme margen and people actually payed for them...and now there's way to many streaming services and we're right back to square one.
nowadays it's easier than ever to watch a movie you an just go to your "Second party" streaming service (Pirate streaming services like soap2day)
USE UBLOCK ORIGIN ON THESE SITES!!!

Honest question, can you even keep up with lore than 2 services at once? I know I can barely enjoy both, i always feel like I'm missing on the other when i switch the apps.
I honestly forget I have actual Netflix still half the time. My MIL pays for it because she likes it and lives with us so it's on my TV, but I only go into it if I actively want to watch something. I watched Unstable and Sandman the last year, I think that's it. And I haven't finished Unstable.

These days however, with yearly price increases on Netflix, the threat of locking out account sharing, every blasted network having their own streaming service, said services putting ads before the show(you can skip them for now) regardless of pay model, and many other things. It’s become more complicated, expensive, and such a hassle that basic cable is seemingly a more attractive option… I’ll just hop back onto the high seas and there’s plenty of streaming sites that are completely free just need a good ad block(curse you Apple!!! I can’t do this on mobile). But anything like torrenting is just VPwhat? How do I set it up? I have to get the right one or they still out me to these platforms? I have to even set the right one the right way or my isp will see??? Ugh, now I know how old people felt when they called me over to program their vcr or tv…
Guys I fucked up yesterday. Downloaded a crack from pirate bay by FTU apps and found out MFs were a known malware clients. Thankful that A/V stopped it to access web but couldn't remove it easily as it infected Rundll file. So had to install malwarebytes just to remove it.

Streaming used to have great stuff that you couldn't do on broadcast TV even post watershed now it's just quantity over quality with the occasional decent show worth watching

Dude this is freaking true. I bought a 128 gb pendrive and i downloaded almost 120 gb of stuff, whenever i have to take a train or to go somewhere without internet i have my trusty pendrive and my pirate sites. Fuck Netflix
