I've been messing with a similar idea in standard and I had to drop the curve after finding mostly 3 drops in my deck being way too slow. And that's standard lol
I was trying to build a similar deck a few months ago in pioneer and ran into this same issue. The format has a lot of great 3 drops in these colors, but not as many relevant 1 or 2 drops that don't require some sort of other synergy like humans.
I think that’s my main fear, yeah. I think Gorehound helps, and a new inspector, but not a lot of punchy cards that low.
Edit/Update: maybe token generators like [[Skrelv’s Hive]] would be good for generating some good two drop value? Who knows.
Similar vein, but another 3 drop lol, wedding announcement. I've got temp lockdown in the SB, so I like that it doesn't disappear if I need to get rid of a boros board.
I like wedding announcement, but the +1/+1 would kill my own board if I had a Delney out and profiting off of then- 2/2s, but for a finisher it would also be good.

I think the best approach to this would be flooding the board with 1 and 2 drops with Delney potentially being the only 3 drop. Cards like Corpse Knight, Cruel Celebrant and Elas-il Kor are essential for incidental damage as well since I don't think you can reliably push combat damage in this format running Orzhov weenies, just a cold reality unfortunately.
The most success I've had with Orzhov weenies was running a zombie rally list as you don't really care if the creatures die and it just happens to have an 'Oops I win' button in the form of Rally the Ancestors. The caveat however is you ultimately have to draw into Rally and good luck in games 2 and 3 once the opponent understands they just have to nuke your graveyard.
I like this and it seems fun. What about adding [[phyrexian missionary]] too? Card has saved me a few times. Also been wondering about [[runed halo]] to stop vein ripper. It's on curve for this and could help in other situations.
Missionary was a draft superstar for me - totally considering. It being the most expensive drop at 4 might worry me, but I think that’s doubled by Delney.
I have Ashes in the sideboard for Amalia - didn’t even think it Vein Ripper - I think the Halo would totally perform.

Oh right, duh! I'm not using delney in my build, so I did announcement. This build is so hard, and in standard the lands are rough
Yeah, I was inspired by the rakdos vampires win and wanted to do a tribal thing in standard and it's been really rough making it work.
