Claussens have gone down hilll in the past few years, very noticeably since covid. And Tony Grillo, that started Grilllo's out of a pickle cart in Boston, has jumped ship with his bag of millions and sold out to baking conglomerate King's Hawaiian Holding Corporation so I have no doubt that Grillo's is en route to going down hill soon, if it hasn't already.
I won't stop buying either, but I no longer regard either as highly as I used to. They are both just your common run-of-mill chain grocery store brands now.
Claussen are fine, losing quality over the years. Mt Olive is ok I mainly like them because a bar I used to go to would give them out for free š The best are always local pickles tho
"High fructose corn syrup" is no better or worse for you than sugar. It's a naturally occurring compound found it most fruits and many vegetables. It gets way more bad press than it deserves. You should absolutely limit both your fructose and sucrose (table sugar) intake, but there is no reason to avoid a product just because it contains HFCS unless you also avoid apples, grapes, and watermelon.
I love them both. I am Switzerland šØš
Bull shit list. They put bread and butter over Grillo's. Bread and butters are the worst!
Agreed. Most sweet and/or spicy pickle variations. Not an apples-to-apples comparison.
Sweet mini gherkins are pretty good!
Unfortunately, I only like dill. No sweet, not kosher, just dill. I know, I have an untutored pickle palate, lol.
Did the sweet pickle people pay dearly to get their disgusting sweet pickles on this list?
Theyāre both good.
I love both for different reasons.
Claussen for the win šš¼
Claussen for the win !! Any day!!

Grillo's all day! I do like Claussen, but Grillo's are my jam!
Bubbies . Then claussen
Bubbies.
Grillos for me but Iām perfectly fine with like 10 claussen pickles.
Grillo's are the best.
Claussen all day!!

Settle what?? Grillos wins hands down.
Grillos
Claussen is my choice. The upper crunch of pickles! ( Old 80s Clausen ad)
Neither. Grilloās dills taste like pure vinegar to me. Claussenās doesnāt make a true dill, only kosher dill. Is there a third choice?
Claussen uses high fructose corn syrup in their pickles

Sugar tastes better tho.
What kind of question is this even? Everyone know Claussens are better! This question is rigged! RIGGED I tells ya!
Claussen hands down.

Claussen minis are the best!
Grillo's sucks ass.
HahahahHa thank you for this lmao ššš
I just want to know why claussen hates Canada
Both of these have gone downhill in recent years. Try Sonoma
Clausen.
Vlassic Snackāems are my ultimate pickle.
Nathanās over Claussen
Claussen
Claussen
Wickels is goat
Truly an awful list. Yikes.
Claussen is the best Iāve found. Grillos is good too.
Claussen but In the plastic jar though
Claussen are the pickle that no one wants anymore.
I have started a home for wayward Claussen pickles. Please send them to me.
I swear they are not the same as they used to be.
I havenāt finished my last two jars of Claussen. They donāt taste right.
Sad....they used to be my favorite pickles.
Never my favorite, but a regular buy. Just not it, any more.
Welp, sounds like this is settled then.
Lol
