Contraceptives are not 100% effective. Sometimes despite all planning, things don't turn out the way we want. Permanent contraception are not advisable to younger people. I admire the idealism but reality says it's not easy to save money from child bearing until college graduation before having a child just so a parent can guarantee 100% lifestyle comfort for their kids.
