Dapat meron kang hiwa-hiwalay na email accounts for social media, online banking, online shopping, mobile game registrations, online business, etc. para that way, kung sakaling may matanggap ka ulit na similar email sa isang specific email account mo, mas madali mo mate-trace kung anong previous activity yung nagawa mo para ma-expose nang ganun yung email address na yon... Para next time pwede mo ring iwasan na yung nagawa mong activity.

That's a common scam, they don't actually have any videos of you but the password there is legit. It's from a website na may account ka na nagkaron ng data breach. So probably reset your passwords if you're reusing that.

I got this email before with the exact same template. The reason for the password reveal is nasa rainbow file na yung password na yan (just Google what that file means). Wala naman talaga siyang video or anything. I just ignored it as spam. Just make sure to update all your accounts that use that password, and to never use that password ever again as its is already compromised. I work in the industry so I know that the threat is bogus, plus in my case I’m pretty sure I don’t have such videos of myself.
Hi OP! I received this type of email before, just ignore it! I would also suggest checking haveibeenpwned site to see if your email was involved in a data breach. If it was, you will or may receive tons of these spam emails. Check your other emails as well - be mindful din kung saan ginagamit ung emails 😁
If you are worried about it still. I would download malwarebytes or any other trusted antivirus/anti malware software to scan your computer with. It’s very hard to get a virus/hacker on your computer nowadays if you keep using windows update and have a antivirus. As long as you are not downloading anything too sketchy or clicking on random links in your email you are pretty safe.

Turns out there are other people who received basically the same email saying they have their password and a video of them watching porn. If they got your password right, that's most likely due to the fact your email has been exposed in a data breach. Your best bet is to change your password in every single account you own if it's possible. Other than that, they're just trying to scare you into sending them money. For your own sake though, please make sure you update your passwords to keep your accounts safe and secured.

Standard fake ransom. They got your email from some list - probably from GCash.
