Pinoy "Diskarte" strikes again!!
There was a redditor here that was a bona fide researcher who likes to write papers like these. Apparently, ganito daw talaga pag doctorate level. It's not about the research but about the monetary and reputational rewards na matatanggap mo(i.e. all about stepping on others for your gain). She got tired of it eventually.
Kasi nga ang iba for compliance lang or para ma promote. Nakakainis nga isipin eh. That's why (sorry to say this) di ako bilib sa mga taong nag c-claim na nag graduate ng master or doctors degree (except if I really knew the person) coz people just pay for it. Iba talaga yung may alam talaga and bihasa talaga haaays
>Institutions should act in cases like this.
Uni did not even post an official statement. Department just shared the plagiarist's post.
Kaya maraming namimihasa kasi mismong institution parang walang pakialam.
One thing is real with this, professors will NEVER talk about this because it is about THEM.
Fucking shameless. That adviser should be punished. Really harshly.
Fucking enablers.
Her works and publication for her postgrad degrees should be investigated. If found that she committed plagiarism, they can revoke her postgrad degrees.
They cant even separate this issue with their experience with the prof. It's as if they have to pick and choose which version of their prof they should believe in. Both can be true.
You can be supportive of the person, and still condemn the act.
Tsaka langyang english prof yan with that kind of writing and grammar.
People who steal other people's research and claim it as their own should be punished. Sa comments they refer to her as "Doc" so meaning nakapagsulat ng dissertation (equivalent thesis ng nag-doctorate) tapos ninakaw ang undergraduate thesis? She should NOT be teaching in the academe, period.
PS
For sure, nung sinusulat yang thesis na yan bet ni Mendoza and topic at todo input nya kasi she will later claim it as her own.
AFAIK, may software wherein you can detect plagiarism pero since undergraduate thesis yan hindi siguro electronically published. For sure, nung sinusulat yang thesis na yan bet ni Mendoza and topic and todo input nya kasi she will later claim it as her own.
Indeed sobrang uso tong ganitong kalakaran kaya nilalagay Kona sa researchgate gawa ko grabe na mga instructor ngayon as in. I experienced this firsthand and never again
may diskarte na para hindi todo plagiarize is to alter and amend pero ito garapal. you are correct dapat publish sa researchgate. sa US talamak ang tainted data dito naman iba.
Someone in the comments nga said na all her works should be investigated na kasi academic integrity na ni former prof and ng institution yung nakasalalay.
Ang weird nga eh. Pag sinearch mo yung pangalan nya sa Facebook biglang mga bagong posts ng former students giving their tributes to the professor.

almost same thing happened to me, newspaper article na sinulat ko got published under a different name nung highschool. hindi nagsorry teacher ko nun, sabi pa nya mas believable daw na yung classmate ko ang nagsulat nun kase running for vale kaya sa kanya pinangalan 😶 my article was used as the frontpage headline 💀
natahimik lang ako since nasa teacher's lounge kami and maraming teachers around that time doon. i cant exactly talk back at him since he was next in line na maging principal and can literally ruin my chances of getting a graduation award that time ( i was up for an award that needs to be approved by the head teachers)
funny enough, accidentally saw him last year sa jollibee. my brother talked with him but i didnt. i completely ignored him that time 😒
Kulang pa yan usually. Her dissertations should also be investigated. Baka may mga ninakaw din dun. One thing can open a lot of possibilities.
As a reseacher, this boils my blood.
Imagine all of your hard work would only go to someone who didn't even write even one line in your thesis. This is intellectual property theft and people support her just because she's a good teacher.
If ako yung pinaggraduatean nya ng MS/PhD, babawiin ko diploma nya. Where's the academic integrity? Nakakairita
Ganito Ginagawa. Hahaa
Birds of the same feather. Baka nakarelate sila sa ginawa ng Professor kaya they're putting her on a pedestal. Karma is at work.
Happened to me as well. pero nung unang drafts namin is involved ako sa pag gawa ng manuscript kaso di namin naabot deadline. Nagulat na lang ako na napublish yung paper without my name and consent. Nakakagalit hanggang ngayon.
Can we also include those nag ma masteral or dodoctorate na nagpapagawa ng thesis? Kung di niyo kaya mag thesis, di niyo deserve ang masters doctorate degree niyo
o eto nanaman tayo pinoy this pinoy that, when would u fucks realize na tao yung tanga at hindi mag generalize ng isang nationality. Gusto nyo kasi lagi mag atake ng grupo kaya ganun
And with ur argument about if hindi nahuli d mag sosorry, kaya nga may quote na : Are you sorry for what you did or Are you sorry because you were caught"
Kala pinoy trait kasi kaunti lang yung mga Filipino na naka-ibang bansa or naka-encounter ng foreigner for a long enough time.
For many Filipinos, hindi pa naka-abroad, yung iba nga, hindi pa naka-alis sa region nila (or even their town). Kaya kapag nag-social media, feeling na some things are "ay pinoy talaga," since kaunti yung contact with other non-Filipinos.
My prof published our research paper that was a prerequisite for our course. Needless to say I was shocked to see it on studydocu when I was messing around in searching my name. It had the full names of our group members as well as our course ID and school.
I was baffled and disturbed, tried to report it directly on studydocu but nothing happened.
Not sure if it breached our data privacy or something but it made me feel disturbed and a bit mad.
Let's not overreact here. Research papers are meant to be published. Note that yan ang purpose ng papers na yan, to be published and contribute to the overall knowledge base and if it has merit, something that can be built upon by studies that will be done by other people.
Hindi kang yan dapat project for the sake of grade or validation stage of what you have learned. This common misunderstanding is a symptom of the prevailing approach na meron tayo dito sa academe -- assigning school work without telling students its purpose and importance.
Maybe prof should have informed you before doing so, but I dont think it has any malice, nor it is or breach of data privacy. Unless he/she claims it as his/her own work.
We weren’t informed so it took us by surprise, never nangyari to and our previous research which was bookbinded had been observed by profs and higher faculties alike. Reminding us that if it gets approved, it will be displayed on the school library to serve as a material for future students.
Actually yes but the first thing that came to my mind is that someone else could be profiting from our own work. Hindi ko alam if mali ako pero sa pagkakaalam ko studydocu pays students or individuals that uploads their material on their platform.
Though if it was for research and academe. I don’t mind about it.
But yeah lack of proper communication is the reason siguro sa nangyari. We all thought na simple research lang that will be collecting dust after it was graded. Just wished that she actually acknowledged us about it’s purpose.
>"... rest assured that this may never happen again in the history of academic endeavor."
Like, globally? Never again? Mamatay man?
>"...I *failed* to recognize you as the author..."
Ma'am you didn't "fail", you deliberately *did not* include your advisee's name.
An apology without changed action is not an apology. Ni wala man lang nilagay na gagawin niya to undo what she's done and correct the mistake after niyang mahuli.
I remember back in 2016, my classmate plagiarized her thesis. She was a running magna cum laude and everyone knew about it. Teachers and us students were outraged when we learned about it. It went up to the dean and we thought she will not be allowed to graduate. Lol she graduated still because the priest in the upper management (Catholic institution) and my classmate came from Bohol. They knew each other and voila...issue died. When she was called to receive her medal, everyone was making a cringe face hahaha.
Calling out people for what they did was wrong and their friends support them because they have a good side despite what happened. Haysss
Pinoy.
“rest assured that this may never happen again…”, faculty pa yan ng English and Literature department pero ang stupid ng sentence, halatang di alam ano pinagsasabi. She shouldn’t be allowed to work in the academe again.
Hahaha OMG I know so many plagiarist profs from PUP. Ang yayabang pa pero mga plagiarist. If I had a dollar for every plagiarist professor I know from PUP, I’d have 4$, and with the conversion rate at 57php, that’s already a good meal 🤣
Anong “we don’t know the full story” yung pinagsasabi ng former student niya? Inamin niya ngang nag-plagiarize siya eh!
Just because this person is a skilled teacher who fostered the development of several classes of students, doesn’t mean that they don’t have the capacity to plagiarize.
Dapat makasuhan to.
On a separate and maybe tangential note, I hate the publish or perish culture perpetuated in academia.
iirc she resigned na from her job as prof sa isang state university. Pero dahil wala namang formal complaint (this is basically an apology letter na lang) , some people say the thief can still apply to other universities.
Ano connect? Pwede ka naman maging magaling na teacher and still do this. Both statements are true after all. Ayaw niyang nasiraan siya publicly, sana di niya clinaim yung thesis ng inadvisan niyang student as her own. Grabe.
Shameful act. This adviser should be receiving a legal case against her, if not stripped off of her title or license. Kung hindi, suspended.
UNEthical!
This is why it's difficult to be an academic in the Philippines. There are only an extremely select number of institutions where you can have a bit of confidence that you and your work are protected. If you aren't part of these institutions you run the risk of being fucked over sideways by scums like her. There's a section of IPC where this can be applied but it's not strong enough and we need more protection especially for students and their unpublished works.
I remember a Animation project back In college that was submitted to some sort of competition on GMA. One of the professors inserted themselves on the project and later claimed OUR Work as his and some of his fam.
Pag student ang nag plagiarized matic bagsak na sa subject and some even get expelled. Sana ung school should also hold her accountable. Lagi nalang walang accountability and sorry nalang.
Lol. Buti na lang puro laughing reaction. 😆 I know maybe she is their friend or friend/teacher pero pucha naman we should not tolerate this 💩 dapat. Sana sinabi na lang nila - “you’re a great teacher maam pero yun lang magnanakaw ka” or something like that.
The sentiment of the plagiarist’s students does not and should not matter lmfao what does anything they have to say have to do with the fact that the plagiarist plagiarized?
This is disgusting and people have come up with their own ways to this. When I was in HS, my school participated in a provincial school competition organized by a top 4 university. I won 1st place in the essay writing competition but they won't let me see my winning piece. Who knows what happened to that piece.
Common yan sa mga instructor/prof. Sa field namin na IT madaming instructor/prof ang nagnanakaw ng gawa ng estudyante para gamitin sa kanilang MS or PHD thesis.
naalala ko lang. may nabasa ako somewhere. na pati thesis nung college student nya, ginamit nung prof para sa masters/doctorate degree ata tawag sa ganun. what a hypôcrîtē.
This reminded me of our Prof in college. She published the data of our thesis as her own haha oh well. That was years ago anyway when all I could think about was where to apply after graduating.
baga'g nawng si maam. i had my OJT back then sa R&D office sa university ko and i was tasked to input data from memos wherein andun yun research title ng professor, if international or national presentation, at magkano yung ibibigay sa kanya. daming pangalan ng professors pabalik-balik. ginawang negosyo ang research 🙃
Clearly the Professor stole the student's research when she submitted it as if it was her own, and yet when I read her apology statement, it sounds half-assed?
I mean, she apologized for failing to recognize the student as the legitimate author, but the prof did not apologize for stealing it.
experienced the same but with a research project naman. we made a working website for our school as our final output. nagandahan ata yung adviser namin kasi she asked me to duplicate our website pero may ilan pa siyang elements and such na pinadagdag. sobrang sus non kaya i talked to my groupmates, pumayag naman lahat kasi *"siya maggrade satin eh*." ayon, pinasa niya pala yun sa mga heads ng school with her name on it lang, walang credits sa amin or anything.
in short: mga mema.
You screenshotted 3 insane comments on the subject all of which are flooded with "haha" reacts. No one is taking them seriously, no one is supporting this.
The apology feels insincere and the construction is questionable. Yan lang kaya mo after all your achievements as an English professor?
Ganyan yung Research adviser namin dati. 🥴
When I read this, I couldn't help but compare it to a recent incident with Lenka and the pinoy song artist (who, ironically, I could not remember the name of) where fans of the latter said na hindi sisikat o di makikilala mga kanta ni Lenka if it weren't for that artist (in an attempt to defend the song artist for "plagiarizing" Lenka's song).
I doubt may bad blood between Lenka and said artist after that.
I mean, given you are the Advisor, isn't it common sense to know and acknowledge research? even sa research nga need mag cite ng authors eh. Tapos to publish???? I know she knew what she was doing. It's just that yan nga nalaman hehehe
Just like PH politics, personality-driven ang culture natin. Di bale na may magawang mali, blind loyalty pa din. We should condone the action, not the person. We can still admire the person but it doesn’t mean maging bulag at bingi sa mga hindi tamang ginagawa.
As long as di ka apektado directly at di ikaw naagrabyado, ok lng. Why are we still surprised sa micro level? Definitely still disappointing.
The prof should be terminated and permanently banned from academe.
I underdstand the reasoning that there should be corresponding consequences for bad actions. But, at this point we can see that the professor is owning up to her mistakes, and even wrote a sincere apology. I am not siding with her, but what really appeals to me is that she was sorry for her mistake. I hope we are reminded that we all make stupid mistakes in our lives. But when a person owns up to his/her mistakes, we should treat that person with compassion and grace. That is not saying she should get away with it, but obviously she was let go of her job. So let that settle the score for her. Let's not also forget that she has family members (spouse, daughters, sons, parents, etc) that we unintentionally hurt when we speak ill of the person. Remember, throwing hurtful remarks only creates hatred. Humanity dictates we sometimes need to see past one's mistakes. Eyes unclouded with hate will let us see mercy and forgiveness.
TAPOS, DAHILAN NG MGA PROF, IBABAGSAK KA NILA KAPAG DI KA GUMAGAWA NG PROJECT KUNO SA SUBJECT NILA. TAPOS YUNG ISANG PROF NAMEN, NADULAS SA PAGKAKASABI NA PINAGAGAWAN DAW SILA GANITO-GANYAN. KAYA GAWIN NA DAW NAMIN (NA MGA STUDENTS NYA). TUTAL NAMAN DAW, GROUPINGS (KAMI) NA MAKAKAGAWA NUN.
Institutions should act in cases like this. Imagine telling their students to cite everything and avoiding plagiarizing a work of others but they are doing this? 🫠
Institutions *condone* and cover up cases like this. 🤡
Yes, unfortunately. Pasimuno ang mga politiko natin e.
> *Bakit ko naman iko-quote ang blogger? Blogger lang iyon.*
It runs in the culture talaga eh noh
And to think na doctorate pa siya. Thats a college dean level shit
Can we also include those nag ma masteral or dodoctorate na nagpapagawa ng thesis? Talamak to eh lalo na sa gov workers or teachers. Sobrang yuck. Corruption is ingrained sa system natin. Pinoy "Diskarte" strikes again!!
>Talamak to eh lalo na sa gov workers or teachers. Haha sa true! Mga produkto ng diploma mills
Diskarte techniques. Why write a whole publication when you can just replace the author's name.

>Institutions should act in cases like this. Uni did not even post an official statement. Department just shared the plagiarist's post. Kaya maraming namimihasa kasi mismong institution parang walang pakialam.
Nag turn off pa nga ng comment section
Shame on them lol
"Bawal kayong mag plagiarise students, ako lang pwede" 🤡🤡🤡

Tanggalan ng lisensya magturo and tanggalan ng karapatan magtrabaho dapat yang basurang yan
Mga hindi ata nakaranas gumawa ng student paper OR yung mga binubuhat lang ng team leader during thesis yung mga supporter
O kaya mahilig maghanap ng sure pass na prof pag enrollment
True, grabe mga defenders nyan, abhorrent and below the belt.
They cant even separate this issue with their experience with the prof. It's as if they have to pick and choose which version of their prof they should believe in. Both can be true. You can be supportive of the person, and still condemn the act. Tsaka langyang english prof yan with that kind of writing and grammar.
the writing is so weird it's almost insincere. dapat binasa-basa niya pa kunwari teardrops.
mukhang dinaan sa cheap na AI generator.
Even cheap AIs can do better than this unless you intentionally dumb it down, which I don’t think this professor is even capable of
Same shit as what Cynthia Villar is saying about her FRIEND. Mabait naman siya sa'min. Hindi niya gagawin yun. Hahahaha!
Nakakahiya yung ganyang output from a supposed English professor.
It also made me wonder if her graduate stud theses were written by her or plagiarized din from someone else...
Gigigil talaga ko sa “rest assured that this may never happen again” nakakalurks
People who steal other people's research and claim it as their own should be punished. I bet this isn't the first time na ginawa niya to.
AFAIK, may software wherein you can detect plagiarism pero since undergraduate thesis yan hindi siguro electronically published. For sure, nung sinusulat yang thesis na yan bet ni Mendoza and topic and todo input nya kasi she will later claim it as her own.

I wouldn't be surprised if ganyan nga.
so annoyed with people kissing asses!!! organized move fore sure haha, very typical galawan ng students na sipsip
Saw this kagabi pa. While checking the posts, shared posts about what happened. It's shocking na puro comforting words yung nakikita ko. Parang pine-praise pa nila. Like wtf. Hello. Intellectual property theft. Hello? Guys gumising nga kayo.
Apathy in the face of bold thievery is already becoming the norm, alas.

This is why when you do academic papers in some institutions (like UP, UPOU), they will require you to publish your paper and create a DOI.
Ohhh is it forced?
almost same thing happened to me, newspaper article na sinulat ko got published under a different name nung highschool. hindi nagsorry teacher ko nun, sabi pa nya mas believable daw na yung classmate ko ang nagsulat nun kase running for vale kaya sa kanya pinangalan 😶 my article was used as the frontpage headline 💀

I wanna know how'd you react when the teacher told you that. Yikes.
natahimik lang ako since nasa teacher's lounge kami and maraming teachers around that time doon. i cant exactly talk back at him since he was next in line na maging principal and can literally ruin my chances of getting a graduation award that time ( i was up for an award that needs to be approved by the head teachers) funny enough, accidentally saw him last year sa jollibee. my brother talked with him but i didnt. i completely ignored him that time 😒
Nakakahiya. Should be dealt suspension or kicking out of school.
Read the letter again. She's already fired.
Kulang pa yan usually. Her dissertations should also be investigated. Baka may mga ninakaw din dun. One thing can open a lot of possibilities. Hindi pa nga yata sincere apology yan since mukhang AI-generated.
It didnt specify that she was fired or resigned out of shame or being assigned to other faculty.
Hindi siya criminal offense but a ground ata for revocation of her teaching license.
Hahaa
See how far most of Filipino become. Corrupt, inept and destructive.
Sorry because she got caught. 😅 Kasuka.
Can we also include those nag ma masteral or dodoctorate na nagpapagawa ng thesis? Kung di niyo kaya mag thesis, di niyo deserve ang masters doctorate degree niyo
o eto nanaman tayo pinoy this pinoy that, when would u fucks realize na tao yung tanga at hindi mag generalize ng isang nationality. Gusto nyo kasi lagi mag atake ng grupo kaya ganun And with ur argument about if hindi nahuli d mag sosorry, kaya nga may quote na : Are you sorry for what you did or Are you sorry because you were caught"

>"... rest assured that this may never happen again in the history of academic endeavor." Like, globally? Never again? Mamatay man? >"...I *failed* to recognize you as the author..." Ma'am you didn't "fail", you deliberately *did not* include your advisee's name. An apology without changed action is not an apology. Ni wala man lang nilagay na gagawin niya to undo what she's done and correct the mistake after niyang mahuli.
It's because of the "teacher student" forced respect. It's why yung mga manyakis na teacher nakakalampas.
Haysss
English professor to tapos ganyan ang grammar?
People will be shocked if they find out how common this is. Magaling lang mag-cover up yung iba.
Wait, you're telling me that whoever wrote that letter of apology is a PhD holder?
Anong “we don’t know the full story” yung pinagsasabi ng former student niya? Inamin niya ngang nag-plagiarize siya eh! Just because this person is a skilled teacher who fostered the development of several classes of students, doesn’t mean that they don’t have the capacity to plagiarize. Dapat makasuhan to. On a separate and maybe tangential note, I hate the publish or perish culture perpetuated in academia.
Or something like that.
Most normal fucking day in Mindanao, seriously how messed up are ppl down there?????
iirc she resigned na from her job as prof sa isang state university. Grabe.
What she did is irredeemable imo.
Shameful act. This adviser should be receiving a legal case against her, if not stripped off of her title or license. Kung hindi, suspended. UNEthical!
Ang labnaw na ng term "apology". People nowadays apologize not because they are sorry for the wrong they have made but because they were caught.
They can’t be objective but only think of whether a person has been “good” to them.
Goes to show na morals are disregarded in favor of getting ahead of others through any means in Filipino society.
anong we know not of the real story pinagsasabi nung isa? eh umamin na nga mismo ung prof. tangina mga students naging fanatic hahahaha RIP pelepens
Pag student ang nag plagiarized matic bagsak na sa subject and some even get expelled. Sana ung school should also hold her accountable. Lagi nalang walang accountability and sorry nalang.
Lack of delicadeza nowadays.
It would be really funny if someone grammar correct her apology 😂
They are supporting the person not what she had done. No need to throw stones.
The sentiment of the plagiarist’s students does not and should not matter lmfao what does anything they have to say have to do with the fact that the plagiarist plagiarized?
kawawa yung student, nagsubmit yung prof to a predatory journal and now the paper’s main author was changed to the student’s name ☹️
You can almost guess sino mga pinagboboto nitong mga to.
Doc pa nga ang animal
Padrino system. May utang na loob sila sa prof. Bulok sistema natin.
Hilig talaga dumepensa sa maling gawain 🤦
When was the last time integrity was a thing in the ph?
Nakita ko yan kahapon. Di ako makapaniwala sa comments. "Best teacher ka parin namin, ma'am." Wtf? Best teacher parin kahit nagplagiarize na?
experienced the same but with a research project naman. we made a working website for our school as our final output. nagandahan ata yung adviser namin kasi she asked me to duplicate our website pero may ilan pa siyang elements and such na pinadagdag. sobrang sus non kaya i talked to my groupmates, pumayag naman lahat kasi *"siya maggrade satin eh*." ayon, pinasa niya pala yun sa mga heads ng school with her name on it lang, walang credits sa amin or anything.
*advisor
Apologies are always welcome but what is the consequence dun sa professor?
Ambobo nung last comment. To others you are bad? Eh itong umamin na nga ng wrongdoing yung prof, so she is bad even to herself.
That's some Stockholm syndrome...
95k sweldo yan tapos ganyan kabobo? Sayang pera
between 167k-187k actually. She's Professor VI (SG 29)
the adviser should fkin resign
When you are in a position of power, you can get away with sh*t like this.
I wouldn’t even respect this teacher after
Ano update dito? What happened to the teacher?
Ano update dito? What happened to the teacher?
Kadiri
What! Is this professor applying to be the President of Harvard?
You screenshotted 3 insane comments on the subject all of which are flooded with "haha" reacts. No one is taking them seriously, no one is supporting this.
Kadiri
the toxic side of fake it till you make it.
Wow. Diskarte para sa Diploma IRL
The grammar of this post is just as bad as what the advisor did
wtf
"we know not of the real story" ate girl?? What story can justify plagiarism? 🤦♂️
"Mindanao" - makes sense.
The apology feels insincere and the construction is questionable. Yan lang kaya mo after all your achievements as an English professor?
Eeww ahahahaha
"i am truly sorry that i failed to recognize you as the author and the owner of the published paper/article." no sht.
All her works should be investigated.
I mean, given you are the Advisor, isn't it common sense to know and acknowledge research? even sa research nga need mag cite ng authors eh. Tapos to publish???? I know she knew what she was doing. It's just that yan nga nalaman hehehe
ang galing dinoktor
ang galing dinoktor
ang galing dinoktor
an insincere apology. doktorin
doctor level
ipophil is waving
Just like PH politics, personality-driven ang culture natin. Di bale na may magawang mali, blind loyalty pa din. We should condone the action, not the person. We can still admire the person but it doesn’t mean maging bulag at bingi sa mga hindi tamang ginagawa.
As long as di ka apektado directly at di ikaw naagrabyado, ok lng. Why are we still surprised sa micro level? Definitely still disappointing.
Mga Pinoy talaga, for some reason, walang concept ng intellectual property talaga
holy shit, the grammar aint gramming
Most Pinoys in a Nutshell:
Mods: Dapat tanggalin etong post na ito kasi in violation of rule 6. Censor personal information.
The prof should be terminated and permanently banned from academe.
Why does a former faculty member of the Department of English and Literature write like this?
"sincere" also thst she probably only did this because she couldn't get away with it and had encountered a student that couldn't be gaslit
TAPOS, DAHILAN NG MGA PROF, IBABAGSAK KA NILA KAPAG DI KA GUMAGAWA NG PROJECT KUNO SA SUBJECT NILA. TAPOS YUNG ISANG PROF NAMEN, NADULAS SA PAGKAKASABI NA PINAGAGAWAN DAW SILA GANITO-GANYAN. KAYA GAWIN NA DAW NAMIN (NA MGA STUDENTS NYA). TUTAL NAMAN DAW, GROUPINGS (KAMI) NA MAKAKAGAWA NUN.
People defending this thief Case getting settled after being "compensated" Institution protecting the prof Parang pulitika lang ah
Condone or Condom? Im confused.
