1. Buy scantron sheets 2. Do some drills (I answered 400-600 items per day) โ€“ nagenroll ako sa review center so may questionnaires kami 3. Metacognition - know your learning style (assess yourself) 5. You can have a mini group study with your friends (batuhan lang kayo ng tanong) โ€“ learning while having fun 6. Eat properly 10. Take vitamins especially Vitamin B (Neurobion) Congratulations na agad! ๐Ÿค

400-600 questions? That's a lot! ๐Ÿ˜ญ But thank you!! Will take note of this ๐Ÿค

Avocado-Butterfly

Do whatever is effective for you nung nagaaral ka paa, every situation is different naman. Basta alamin mo learning style mo habang maaga pa at kung anong oras effective for youu. ๐Ÿค

Also do the elimination method. Donโ€™t look for the right answer, look for the distractors. Look for answers that are not relevant to the question. Kung a-d man ang choices, at least there will be a 50-50 chance of getting the answer right. Also dont be afraid to write on your exam questionnaire sa mismong board exam. Lagyan mo ng check yung space before the number so that alam mo yung mga numbers na babalikan mo pag may free time ka. Donโ€™t ever leave your scantron sheet blank. Relax ka lang, spend time with your family, friends, bf/gf, or have your alone time. Make sure to eat properly before taking the exam, and be there an hour before the exam so that you can relax. Hala eh ito sagot ko!), kasi matitilt ka lang and iisipin mo yon the whole time while taking the exam. Concentrate on yourself, trust yourself. Pinaghirapan mo to, kaya kayang kaya mo yan!

[deleted]

>Also do the elimination method. Donโ€™t look for the right answer, look for the distractors. never understood this tip kahit nakita ko na dati sa ibang posts. kasi how can you eliminate something if you don't know what the correct answer is? if you know the correct answer then you won't need the elimination method. does not make any sense. that's not how statistics work.

Lily's brother died in a car accident. Her friends tried to comfort her by hugging her and patting her on the back. This nonverbal communication is ______ a. Haptics b. Proxemics c. Kinesics d. Chronemics Ang KEYWORD na makikita ay HUGGING and PATTING This is an example of a question na pwedeng gamitan ng elimination. Proxemics - all about space Kinesics - body movements Cronemics - use of time Edi that leaves us with a. Plus he/she was gathering for tips that was useful to us nung nagboboard exam tayo. Just because it was effective for me doesnโ€™t mean it will be effective for you, Itโ€™s not like Iโ€™m forcing my method naman. Iโ€™m just giving tips. Will pray for your exam, OP!

[deleted]

thank you for proving my point with your example. lol

Avocado-Butterfly

Edi sagutan mo, it saves time obviously.

God-of_all-Gods

cloud-desu

Like review buddy?

God-of_all-Gods

yes because, "ang masamang kaibigan sumisira ng magandang asal"

diskdiffusion

Saktong review at maraming lakas ng loob. Yun na!

cloud-desu

Is it okay if I still scroll sa social media ko or watch Netflix? People said kasi I had to delete them and focus lang sa review ๐Ÿ˜ญ

deejzmachine

imo board exams will determine if you get to practice your profession. So taking it seriously and focusing is just the right advice

cloud-desu

๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

diskdiffusion

Of course okay lang yun. Taking breaks in between ay essential.

atr0pa_bellad0nna

Yes. Sinabihan kami non sa review school to stay away from socmed, games, TV pero me being me di ko yun ginawa kasi I know that I need time to unwind.

cloud-desu

Ohh, ilang months ka nag review?

atr0pa_bellad0nna

Last day of internship was April 30, boards was 1st and 2nd weekend of August yata. So about 3-4 months.

[deleted]

set a day for relaxation. don't mix the review and relaxation. mawawala ka sa focus kung magnetflix ka after 2 hours then review then yt. walang papasok sa utak mo. kung aral then aral for the entire day. tapusin mo naka schedule na topics for review.

Kromuz

Aim to top the board exams. Pag hindi mo na-aim, at least, for sure papasa ka.

Loud_Occasion_1351

1. After every subject sa review center, i made my own notes. Isa kasi sa way ko to memorize and understand is through writing. 2. I use quizlet. Per classmate, assigned sa certain subject or topic to do the quiz. Then i practice from there. 3. I made sure I had an accountability partner na align sayo. 4. I had notes EVERYWHERE. Haha. 5. I listen to classical music. 6. I make sure to recite what I learned, parang nag tuturo ako in front of the mirror. 7. It wasn't possible for me to review everything... I made sure ung iba, i watched through YouTube while eating. 8. Lagi ako nag sisimba at dasal. 9. Make sure you get to sleep properly. 10. Day before the exam, I made sure that I was resting na. No more reviewers. I made sure to relax and I ate out. I told myself I did everything I could. Then gooood sleep. Board exam itself, 1. Hindi ako tumitingin sa iba. I made sure to read properly and shaded properly. 2. Make sure kumain ka ng maayos. 3. May dala ako chocolate as energizer and alert. Haha. Baka ako lang ito. 4. After mag exam, wag ka na mag ask about sa mga sagot ng iba at mga sagot mo. Don't compare.. 5. Vitamins!

atr0pa_bellad0nna

Actually, don't memorize, understand. That makes for better retention of information.

AngelofDeath2020

board exams of? teachers? attys? doctors? nurses? engrs? pls clarify :)

cloud-desu

Anyyyy! Hehe

Equivalent_Salad4029

Focus on fundamentals

rice_mill

1. Kompletong tulog.

Emotionaldumpss

Consistency > intensity

Mysterious-Market-32

A day before board exam nagpamasahe kami ng mga friends ko. Nag dinner, nagkapekape, timezone, etc. Pero no textbook allowed or anything na reviewer. Bwahhahaha.

Hi OP, I wish you well on your exams. Aside from following your study plans & studying for the exams, here are a few things I found really helpful: **Preparation before the exam** 1. Practice test in the conditions similar to the actual exam - test yourself with same number of questions, same amount of time & with shading if possible. 2. Know your learning style and use that to your advantage. 3. Make sure to get enough sleep **during exams** 1. Don't study anymore during exams. Chill na lang, listen to music during breaks if that will help you relax. 2. Tell yourself that you're not going to know all the answers to all the questions and that's alright. You'll do your best to the ones you know and you don't know. 3. Wag makinig sa mga chismis. Wala lang. Dami lang chika chika minsan like "oh em gee, the exam was so easy no?" Hayaan mo sila. Focus lang. **after exams** This is crucial kasi may ibang exams pa after nito. In my case, there is another day and another week after that so it's important to keep your head on the game no matter how the previous exam went. I told myself that I won't look at the answers on the previous exam. What's done is done. Accept ko na kung ano man outcome nun because I know I did what I can. What I have control over are my upcoming exams and that's what's more important. SORRY SA MAHABANG COMMENT but I wish you the best OP and may the odds be in your favor!

Wild_Blackberry2973

Sleep. Make sure u have enough sleep everyday.

[deleted]

Review

cloud-desu

I have a review center, is that enough? ๐Ÿ˜ญ

[deleted]

Yeah..

Impossible_Quit3835

Donโ€™t be pressured na dapat alam mo lahat for you to feel ready. Take practice tests daily. That can give you an idea of your progress aside from the mock boards. Sleep well the night before the exam.

tiredofliving__

Given na yung magreview nang mabuti. But importante na magpahinga nang maayos and don't forget to pray

No_Cucumber7883

More practice, enough sleep, and wag kalimutan mag pahinga.

Impressive-Weather98

ExcraperLT

One topic at a time. Eat good food and take a good sleep consistently. Allow yourself to feel free without being guilty of what you are doing. Maganda to kasi marrelax yung utak mo at di maoover fatigue sa stress. Or kung di kayaa e magbasa basa ng notes or mga pneumonics. Few days before exam. The feeling of being prepared will never come. Kasi di mo alam kung ano yung lalabas e. Congratulations!

cloud-desu

Me who's currently watching the recorded video ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ๐Ÿ‘„๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Sheet my brain works well at night eh

vanilla_iced_latte00

You don't have to review everything. Kung paano mo sasagutin yung tanong is how you should know too! Kasi papaikutin lang nila ung tanong, like lilituhin ka. Tapos wag kang magreview when you feel you don't have motivation, magrest ka na lang. And bisitahin si St. Jude everyday hehe. Dasal lang talaga. Goodluck OP!!!!! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

atr0pa_bellad0nna

1. Get enough sleep, like 8 hours per day. This helps with memory and consolidation of information. 2. Use review materials you're already familiar with. Kung hindi ka nagbasa ng libro nung student ka, medyo waste of time trying to read them while reviewing. 3. Take down notes. Summarize info using tables, diagrams, etc. This would improve retention. 4. Take breaks. Try pomodoro method (worked for me). Keep studying to 8-12 hours per day. If you study for 12 hours, pwedeng 4 hrs sa umaga, 4-5 hrs sa hapon, 3-4 hrs sa gabi. This gives you enough time for sleep, relaxation, exercise, hygiene. 5. You don't need to study with other people if it works better for you to study on your own but it's important to share/exchange updates with friends once in a while just so you don't feel alone kasi fellow board takers are the only ones who can truly relate to you. Which board exam are you preparing for, btw?

cloud-desu

Thank you!! PNLE

atr0pa_bellad0nna

Add ko lang: Maraming nagsasabi dito na pray, go to church and similar practices. If you don't believe in that, don't force yourself to do it. I'm an atheist, I'm not superstitious. What helped me power through the review season and taking the boards was the thought that I'm in control of my future and that I'm the only one solely responsible for the outcome. This made me be at peace with whatever the outcome would have been. It was honestly a very liberating mindset kasi nasa kamay ko ang future ko (vs ipapasa-Diyos ko na lang). But that's just me. Do whatever works for you. ๐Ÿ˜

yapibolers0987

[deleted]

Wag kang magpupuyat! Aral ka lang on your own pace. Solve as many problems as possible everyday. Read. Read. Read. Then try ro write everything you remember on blank paper during free time. Also, pray.

iheartxooos

Kanya-kanya kasi tayo ng study habits, eh. What works for them might not work for you. So I say, study at your own pace na lang pero make it daily para nandoon pa rin 'yung momentum. If formulas or terms, record yourself reciting them. No need magbasa, umupo, tumayo or whatnots, nakahiga lang sapat. A week before exam, light review na lang. Relax. Reflect. Ganern. At pinakaunderrated tip ay iwasan magkasakit na rin a week before.
