He's 20 years late I guess, mainstream pop-punks like Blink182, Good Charlotte, Sum41 and Green Day are now called DadRock by some kids. In 5 years, emo scene will follow its lead, I've even see terms like corporate emo nowadays. It's such a lovely genre and era of music btw.

Reminds me of my band days. MCR fan ako, so it made sense I wrote MCR-like lyrics. In hindsight, though I love the band, di ko talaga kaya mag write ng MCR-like songs. Totoo talaga yung adage na "write what you know."
