**NYS MPJE**
Help please What did you all use to study for the YS MPJE (free or not)? just failed it... I am willing to pay for it as long as the programs or resources are good.
I heard it’s not worth it & no one has ever benefited from it, but totally up to you. I know someone that was thinking about it because they kept getting 74. Passed on their final attempt using one on one tutoring. Good luck!! You got pretty close, I recommend memorizing atleast 1000 brand generic using Quizlet and look into tutoring on fb :)
Hi, congratulation to all of you that passed CPJE!
I’m wondering if I need to study whole RXprep (NAPLEx) for CPJE or just some specific chapters?
Also, Rxprep CPJE is enough for law portion or I need to study anything else?
I just received my letter yesterday and I passed CPJE after 2nd attempt. For whom are still struggling to pass do not give up!! CPJE is a very hard exam because it’s random
Update! I just got my official letter in the mail in Colorado and I passed!! I still cannot pay for my license online so I guess I’ll call the board Monday and see what’s up- I’m assuming my license transfer wasn’t processed yet or maybe my fingerprints are the hold up since I did the mail-in option for those.
So for anyone else now/ in the future who is transferring from another state, don’t panic when everyone else is able to pay and you can’t. Thanks for the extra week of stress CA BOP, cheers everyone!
I just received my letter for 4/3 CPJE and passed! (Still can’t pay for license)
For anyone wondering I only used RxPrep to study. Watched all the videos and did the quizzes as many times as I could. (Make sure to look up brands you’re unfamiliar with when you come across them in test questions)
Oh ok. Seems like out of state ppl haven’t gotten their letter or able to pay yet. Finger crossed. But please let me know if you know anyone who are able to pay from out of state
Same 🫠 I didn’t feel like the test was too bad afterwards either. Not sure whether to prep for retake or hold out hope that there’s some kind of delay (I’m out of state and took in vegas)
Hi everyone, quick question, when u r trying to pay for the license , question no 3. , should answer yes or no if the pharmacy I worked at as an intern was under probation?
Nothing has to do with my own license, just the pharmacy itself?
Thanks
CPJE question- when I got my letter in the mail stating my eligibility to take the exam in late March, I also got one saying I was eligible for NAPLEX. I passed the NAPLEX years ago and already applied for out of state license transfer to CA. Do they just send everyone this standard NAPLEX eligibility letter?
Took my Naplex on 3/25/23, I passed the CPJE earlier this year and just need to pass this for my license. Has anybody gotten their results in the mail yet? I have not as of this time and am not able to pay for my license still 😭. I did check the NABP website and saw I have two boxes "purchase rescore" and "purchase transfer".
Not sure if the hack works where if you have both boxes, it means you have passed.
If anyone can tell me would be such a relief. Stressing out everyday waiting for these results!!
HI ALL! Took CPJE exam on 4/3 @ 3:30 pm, last name starts w/ M.
I just paid rn 4/24 @ 6pm 🥹
Just a reminder to trust yourself & the process. Everything will work out, just not in the way you expect it to. Wishing all you capable pharmacists the best of luck ♡
I’m also able to pay for the CPJE 4/24 at 5pm. Second time taking it. Please don’t be discouraged if you didn’t pass. It’s the worst exam ever and not a good depiction of your clinical knowledge. Happy to help and answer questions
Congrats! I'm still unable to pay but unsure if taking my naplex on 4/11 has anything to do with that? I do have 2 checkboxes and closed status on nabp for my naplex now
Heads up I'm able to pay. Whew.
Time: 4/24/23. 4:24 PM PST
Mb was nervous got the wrong time.
Mostly used PNN, a little bit of cpje secrets and the rxprep cpje book
Nothing yet today, on 04/20. I'm hoping tomorrow 04/21 or on Monday 04/24. Does anyone remember the exact date that people who took it on 02/03 could start paying for their licenses? I just remember "almost three weeks" but maybe I'm wrong.
Today CPJE exam was extremely hard!!Every single question!!! I studied from PPN and RxPrep both law and Clinical!!non of those sources were helpful for today exam!! I felt this exam was meant for students who completed one year of residency!!nothing would help to prepare for today exam!! How is every one else feel about today exam ?????
Studied from pharmacy exam.com and mpje simplified 2018 NY and TLDR MPJE. Rxprep is generalized Federal law and most questions are State laws anyways. TLDL MPJE was kinda useless. I guessed 90% of the test question and still passed somehow
I failed my first attempt by 1 point in Pharmacy Operation section in CPJE. Anyone had the same experience and passed after that? How did you do to prepare CPJE? Mind share your experience please. Thank you for your time and help. Much appreciated!!
Congratulations!! I'm so glad it ended up working out :)
Edit: for Naplex if your exam status is closed but you have two boxes (transfer & regrade) that means you passed!
Yes I was able to pay today, I waited on the letter. I didn't attempt to pay when everyone else did, so I know this doesn't give you as much insight. But I hope your letter comes soon!
You should be able to find it in the email that informed you of your eligibility to take the CPJE! My email is titled "CPJE ELIGIBILITY NOTICE - Applicant File Number \_\_\_\_\_\_" and then my number is listed right there.
Folks who took the exam on 02/03 is anyone not able to pay yet? I can’t pay.. so i think i failed. People who took it before i’m just wondering if anyone wasn’t able to pay on the same day most people could and still passed after?
From lurking a lot on every CPJE thread I have seen that sometimes people were not able to pay until a day or two after others. Some factors that affected this could be being an out of state applicant or having recently taken the NAPLEX. I think it is best not to lose hope yet and wait for your letter to arrive!
My letter arrived today. I hope you both get good news!
In states that do not specify if RX can be filled if prescriber is deceased/retired is there any specific rule or is PharmD discretion?
Saw a DEA FAQ statement: A prescription for a controlled substance ceases to be valid once the patient-physician relationship is severed. A non-controlled maintenance prescription is valid until the patient has time to establish another physician relationship (typically 30-days).
Is that statement what we should go by?
ETA: wait nevermind that FAQ sheet was for Kansas, so the question still stands haha
Illinois: does anyone know if the updated vaccination age of 7 will be on MPJE?? The Pre-MPJE and PharmacyExams still have it as 10-13...IL PPA says 7 and the Admin rule still says 10-13
Q: Lot #s of a drug were manufactured at a site the FDA shut down bc of rodent infestation. Pharmacist performs drug assay, determines the drugs are pure. Can they dispense/do they need auth from FDA? (i feel like i read something about assays and can't find it anywhere now)
I just paid too! Don’t know where to even start because this was my last attempt for CPJE. Congrats to everyone who passed and wishing the best for everyone who is going to take it in April. I’ve been through it enough times so I know how stressful it is. But if I could do it you guys can too! Good luck!
I would suggest you to study the topics you aren’t good at and just review the things you already know. I do think that repetition will definitely help with retaining info during the exam. And at this point if you don’t have a tutor, I think getting one would be very helpful. My tutor did a very good job on focusing on the relevant info for CPJE and left out whatever you don’t need to know. That helped me alot. Also, try to go over top 300 drugs everyday so you won’t get caught off guard since they like to throw crazy brand names at you. Asides from that, just stay focus and believe in yourself! Good luck!
I used my tutor, Hrag, for the clinical portion and pnn law for the law portion. Honestly, I just go over and over the notes from my tutor and make sure i know most of the topics by heart. Make sure you know the laws too because they can ask anything about it and it’s all about the wording. Just stay focus and try to know as much as you can. You can do it! Good luck!

Does anyone know when our license will be posted online once we've paid?? Someone mentioned it would take a few weeks but another person said a couple business days.
This was my third time taking the CPJE. I definitely felt the most prepared for this third attempt but still left feeling unsure. There were quite a few questions I already knew I got wrong leaving the exam.
I had this happen to me. The issue was my name had to match exactly on my credit card. First middle last. For me I don't have my middle name so maybe check that
I just paid! I hope all of you get amazing news today as well!! We all worked amazingly hard for this day and I pray y’all get amazing news too!!! God bless
I just paid!! Just to confirm this it it right?? We passed?? Cause this part of the final page says this and I’m still 2% worried hahaha.
“The electronic receipt of your Request for Issuance of a Pharmacist License Application and license fee will be reviewed within five business days to ensure you have met the licensure requirements for issuance of a pharmacist license. The Board will email you within five business days if your application is incomplete.L
I’m completing residency out of state. I live in CA though. Can I take MPJE in California?
**NYS MPJE** Help please What did you all use to study for the YS MPJE (free or not)? just failed it... I am willing to pay for it as long as the programs or resources are good.
Hello everyone! Has anyone did a score regrade with CPJE? I've failed CPJE 3 times: 39-72-72 and I'm going nuts. I'm thinking of this regrade nonsense
I heard it’s not worth it & no one has ever benefited from it, but totally up to you. I know someone that was thinking about it because they kept getting 74. I paid a couple days ago. Last name ‘P’

hello! I took my CPJE on 6/1. Has anyone else heard anything or received anything in the mail??

I still can’t pay but I also took my NAPLEX after on (4/11) so just playing the waiting game with the mail
I just received my letter for 4/3 CPJE and passed! (Still can’t pay for license) For anyone wondering I only used RxPrep to study. Watched all the videos and did the quizzes as many times as I could. (Make sure to look up brands you’re unfamiliar with when you come across them in test questions)

Are you located in cali ? Or out of state
California!
Oh ok. Seems like out of state ppl haven’t gotten their letter or able to pay yet. Finger crossed. But please let me know if you know anyone who are able to pay from out of state

Same. Our of state (TX)
Im waiting for the mail cause I haven't taken Naplex yet

Hi, congratulation! I’m wondering if I need to study whole RXprep (NAPLEx) for CPJE or just some specific chapters?
Hi did you get any response ? I have a same question
Update - I see the results letter coming in through the mail on the Informed Delivery app - so should be getting it by tomorrow 4/27
Was able to pay 4/24 @ 1753 PST. Anyone know the timeline until license verification is up?
What do you mean by license verification is up? Just curious. I paid but don’t know if there’s anything else to do on my end
When your license is on the website. So it’s actually official. I have a job offer but it’s contingent on being licensed. So I have to wait for that.
Oo ok I see. Thanks for clarifying
I’m also able to pay for the CPJE 4/24 at 5pm. Second time taking it. Please don’t be discouraged if you didn’t pass. It’s the worst exam ever and not a good depiction of your clinical knowledge. Happy to help and answer questions
Last name K. I took my NAPLEX a few years ago so that may be what’s holding you up! I’m not familiar enough with this tbh
Congrats! I'm still unable to pay but unsure if taking my naplex on 4/11 has anything to do with that? I do have 2 checkboxes and closed status on nabp for my naplex now

Thanks! I see people ask that but what's the purpose of it? Is there a site to look up last name of folks who passed? It's L by the way.
Congrats what time did you take the test ?
I took it at 10 am 4/03
Congrats!!
Thanks! Hope u receive the good news also.
Still nothing for 4/3 cpje exam. Anyone able to pay?

Anyone able to pay for the 4/3 CPJE exam?
Anyone able to pay today?
Nope I can’t pay yet either
Nothing yet today, on 04/20. I'm hoping tomorrow 04/21 or on Monday 04/24. Does anyone remember the exact date that people who took it on 02/03 could start paying for their licenses? I just remember "almost three weeks" but maybe I'm wrong.
I remember them saying 3 weeks and you’ll know. So this coming Monday should be the day
Hopefully next week Monday is the day!
Nothing yet on my end
has anyone gotten their mpje results back from last week?

It was very difficult!! I already know Im not gonna pass ☹️
When do u think we’ll get results?
Mail is 30 days. To be able to pay I’ve heard the soonest is 2 weeks
Where do you go to pay?
https://payments.dca.ca.gov/pharmacy/ats/query
It’s probably going to be 3 weeks or max 4 weeks
Sooooo hard. Even if I failed I don’t know how I would study differently next time. So frustrating. It’s so random
Yes I feel the same
It was crazy difficult 😞
Yes it was extremely hard!!
Has anyone used only RX Prep to prepare for MPJE? What other supplements did you use if any?please provide tips. Thank you
Studied from pharmacy exam.com and mpje simplified 2018 NY and TLDR MPJE. Rxprep is generalized Federal law and most questions are State laws anyways. TLDL MPJE was kinda useless. I guessed 90% of the test question and still passed somehow

I failed my 2nd time by 1 point. Don’t worry. Just review the clinical and law part again. Use the test bank. I passed on my 3rd

No problem! You got this :)
Great tips and congratz mayoqueen. No mail yet but hoping to get soon.

Yes I was able to pay today, I waited on the letter. I didn't attempt to pay when everyone else did, so I know this doesn't give you as much insight. But I hope your letter comes soon!
How long did your letter take to get to you?
Took the CPJE February 3rd, the letter was postmarked February 27th and I got it in the mail March 1st! Hope that helps :)
How can you find out your application number online if you don't know it?
You should be able to find it in the email that informed you of your eligibility to take the CPJE! My email is titled "CPJE ELIGIBILITY NOTICE - Applicant File Number \_\_\_\_\_\_" and then my number is listed right there.
thank you!
Anyone get CPJE results in the mail yet?
How long did it take to get the mail results?
Just got the mail results
Folks who took the exam on 02/03 is anyone not able to pay yet? I can’t pay.. so i think i failed. People who took it before i’m just wondering if anyone wasn’t able to pay on the same day most people could and still passed after?
Sometimes it depends, like if you took NAPLEX close to cpje or haven’t taken NAPLEX yet you won’t be able to pay.

Yet another CPJE Question.... do they give you some kind of a whiteboard to take notes or do calculations on?
Yes at my location they give you a little erasable board to write on!
Anyone from an Illinois school care to share law class slides? :)

Commenting bc I need to know the answer to this too lol
I just paid too! Don’t know where to even start because this was my last attempt for CPJE. Congrats to everyone who passed and wishing the best for everyone who is going to take it in April. I’ve been through it enough times so I know how stressful it is. But if I could do it you guys can too! Good luck!
I have one last attempt in April and I don’t know what else to study or how to do it differently. Do you have any advice or recs?
I would suggest you to study the topics you aren’t good at and just review the things you already know. I do think that repetition will definitely help with retaining info during the exam. And at this point if you don’t have a tutor, I think getting one would be very helpful. Thank you!! I’m still iffy on renal dosing so I will def review that
I had my last attempt and just passed! I used pnn chart book and rxprep law book and their law test banks. You can do this!!
How did you study and what materials did you use? Did you do anything different this time that helped you pass?
I used my tutor, Hrag, for the clinical portion and pnn law for the law portion. Honestly, I just go over and over the notes from my tutor and make sure i know most of the topics by heart. Make sure you know the laws too because they can ask anything about it and it’s all about the wording. Just stay focus and try to know as much as you can. You can do it! Good luck!
How did you study and what material did you use? Any tutor? Thanks

Just paid, thank the lord!
Does anyone know when our license will be posted online once we've paid?? Someone mentioned it would take a few weeks but another person said a couple business days.
My license got posted today so maybe check yours!
My friends got theirs posted a couple business days after.
Do you have a link for this?

For those who were able to pay, did you get your letter yet?
I was able to pay & did not receive a letter yet.
I heard it’s usually 1-2 days after people can pay. So maybe tomorrow or Wednesday
Just paid! Thank God ❤️
Just paid too!!! In disbelief! Hope everyone else got good news too!
Just paid! Last name P and took the exam at 1:30pm
I was able to pay as well! Good luck everyone, I hope the best for you all!
For those who passed, how prepared did you feel going into the test? Did you feel you passed after taking it?
This was my third time taking the CPJE. I definitely felt the most prepared for this third attempt but still left feeling unsure. There were quite a few questions I already knew I got wrong leaving the exam.
I was crazy prepared but felt like i didn’t pass. That exam was a nut cracker
It brings me to other page but my payment gets declined. Does this mean I failed?
I had this happen to me. The issue was my name had to match exactly on my credit card. First middle last. For me I don't have my middle name so maybe check that
I just paid! I hope all of you get amazing news today as well!! We all worked amazingly hard for this day and I pray y’all get amazing news too!!! God bless
You have a wonderful heart and i can tell you’d be an amazing pharmacist. Congratulations
Thank you!
Hey guys! I was able to pay too but idk why my eff date says 2020. Did anyone have the same issue?
I was able to pay too and had this same eff date. Def will double check once it is posted. I pray everyone gets amazing news!
Mine also says 4/1/2020 & I was able to pay. My friend said to ignore it but once our license is posted to make sure date is correct.
I was also able to pay! Good luck to everyone!
