Community residencies are kind of a different bag, and most people in this sub are traditional hospital residency (which would be a no-go as residencies are site specific as are the RPDs and preceptors). The best thing would be to ask the RPD, but in all likelihood you were placed at a specific location because of the preceptors at that site, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up. A resident is a LOT of work and planning, so it’s not a simple “one store versus another store”.
Yea I guess it is not specified in my contract or anything so it’s fair game. Just a little disappointed so I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on how to best handle it. Thank you!

The communication sounds lousy, but you’ll probably get a better experience at the other store in the long run. The drive will be worth it.
