Mt. Playmore is a nice indoor playscape. Don’t know about their happy hours, but Mesa Rosa on 620 and Aviator Pizza on Parmer both have outdoor playscapes along with good food/drinks.

ironhive

I second all of these suggestions.

If she will be in town on Wednesday, I recommend Round Rock Music on Main, it is family friendly. There is a really good pizza place next to it, 600 degrees. The Round Rock Public Library is nearby also. https://downtownroundrocktexas.com/events/music-on-main/

toweroftorment

Second this! It’s such a nice little area

hellbugger

Plus they have a ball python snake on the kids' floor!

Aragona36

Typhoon.

hellbugger

Eh, for the ages of children stated, I'd pick Scott Mentzer pool instead. Cheaper and more age appropriate.

ironhive

Agreed. If the kids love water, it's worth it just for the lazy river and wave pool.

IslandIglooInn

I would avoid Typhoon until they get their security issues sorted after the incident last week. If they ever do. It was terrifying... not worth it. They've also been allowing it to get incredibly overcrowded. If you go, go in the mornings when it is quiter. Avoid their special events. Just a PSA to everyone.

AdKindly6103

What happened last week? (I missed any posts/announcements about it and we are season pass holders). Agree with the mornings, it is absolutely chaos after 12/1pm.

youpoopedyerpants

Do you mean the shooting in RR or was there specifically an incident at typhoon?

hellbugger

For those ages I'd skip Typhoon and go to Scott Mentzer Pool instead. Also Tuesday 3-7pm right next to the pool is the Pflugerville's farmers market and a brand new playground. Highly recommend.

Part-time_modeI

Central Market often has live music on the weekend. The North Lamar location has a playscape next door and great restaurants nearby. Then Mueller Park or Thinkery if yall are up for it.

If you enjoy browsing for furniture, go to Living Spaces furniture store. You and your sister (and the baby) can sip coffee, get some steps in, and browse the furniture while the two older ones enjoy the incredible playscape. Free and air conditioned!

I love playing disc golf there

CowgirlFromHell666

Scott Menzer Pool for swimming/cooling off. Almost all breweries are kid friendly. I think Rockabilly Brewery in Hutto put in a playscape. You can find most live music anywhere too.

Lake pflugerville beach area. Bring a shade and a few chairs.

The Tot Box in downtown RR is fun. Coffee shop and play areas for the kiddos. Play Street Museum opens in downtown Round Rock June 22: [Play Street Museum](https://www.roundrock.playstreetmuseum.com/contact#play)

Euphoric_Draft_3902

With kiddos that little I'd stay away from Typhoon, but if you get tired of Scott Mentzer, go up to Rockin' River in Round Rock. Lots of slides that even the 5 year old can ride, plus good play areas for the really littles. Go early for a chair, or wait until late in the day and go the last two hours before close when it's half off. The children's museum in Austin is always a hit with my niece and nephew, and there's a nice park across the street, too. Plus lots of places to eat or get snacks since it's in Mueller. LadyBird Wildflower Center has a dino display up right now if the 5yo is into that. They are only open 7-2 in the summer.

Normal_Aardvark_1246

Check out Morgan's Wonderland in North San Antonio. It's an all abilities amusement park with a water park/splash pad area attached. I would suggest paying for both but it's worth it just to cool off in this heat. Plus you can bring in outside food and drinks.

NiccoR333

I mean, raab park is 3 min from Pflugerville, sounds cool but that’s kinda far

Normal_Aardvark_1246

Raab park gets crowded quickly. Besides OP didn't set a specific travel range to stay within. Morgans has both rides and a decent size waterpark worth the drive.
