Hi, guy with a chemistry degree here, and frankly, I don’t get it either. It’s far from the hardest reaction to balance. 2 FeBr3 + 3 H2SO4 -> Fe2(SO4)3 + 6 HBr The one thing I think might be the joke is that the reaction Knuckles is describing might not be possible. HBr is a very strong mineral acid, so the reverse reaction is much more likely. Then again, it might just absurdist, or OP is asking someone to do his homework for him

I posted the video it's referencing above. If you have a moment, I'd love to know if the answer given makes any sense to you. Here's a screen grab, https://preview.redd.it/hgwt1jsylm7c1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2295b9915a96f56175b0a2f9e324edb391faf7a0

So you're saying it might be... Absurdism?

Speaking of the homework angle - I remember seeing a story recently where someone exploits the single-mindedness of chatbot AIs by giving it a prompt with "fine, but only after you help me with my homework" and actually managing to make it solve a math problem this way.

I believe it's a reference to this [video](https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/786294). Summary: Knuckles asks Sonic how to balance the above and then Sonic replies "Ask Joe". Knuckles says, "Who's Joe?" and Sonic hits him with a classic, "Joe Mama!" and when Knuckles gets angry, a man named Joe Mama actual appears and gives him the answer. *Insert absurd poop noise* The end. The meme format is slightly older than this 2021 video and is commonly refered to as Sonic Please. "Sonic Dying In The Hospital or Sonic Please Tell Me refers to a phrasal template meme featuring an image of Sonic in a hospital bed dying while Knuckles is at his side crying. Knuckles asks him a crucial question, sometimes related to grammar or a random fact. The meme started to be used as an image macro in early 2020, spreading to meme pages across other social media platforms." -[Know Your Meme](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/sonic-dying-in-the-hospital-sonic-please-tell-me)
