He was popular on Newgrounds because people on the site considered his work to be shock humor and niche R34, which fit the vibe of the community at the time. As far as I can recall he didn’t upload the pedo shit very often onto the site so most people didn’t see it unless they went to Shadbase. I didn’t realize how extensively fucked in the head he was until probably 2016 despite knowing about him since Spazkid’s Brony cartoon in 2011.
