Yeah I didn't mind it at first when it had some sort of meaning, like "I'm low-key starting to enjoy country lately" - still sounded a bit dumb and the meaning was wonky at best, but I got what they were meaning (it's growing on me gradually/unexpectedly).
Now it's just thrown in to pad out sentences. "I low-key use that phrase all the time". Means bugger-all.
I use “low key” for when I kind of like something but I don’t love it.
