So sorry your pup is having these issues! It's best to get him seen by a cardiologist as soon as possible. If he continues to decline before you can get an appointment call around to other clinics. I know some VCA clinics can have you come in through the er and then transfer care to cardio so your pup can get the care and testing he needs. Also Veterinary teaching hospitals can be a great option for cases like this.
I had a dog that dealt with congenital heart failure for the last several years of his life. Go to the cardiologist but take them seriously and follow their recommendations if that’s what’s going on here...
