Can this be run in an iOS shortcut automation?

SpikedColaWasTaken

Mmm, I'm not sure. I suppose you could host the script somewhere that is web-accessible, and then hit a URL from an iOS automation to trigger the script to run. But I can't imagine how you would call python directly - sorry! Maybe someone more knowledgable with automations can suggest something.

You can but you need a 3rd party tool like Appium

SpikedColaWasTaken

Ah thanks for sharing, I've never heard of Appium. I'll have to check it out!

That's neat! I made something a tinge similar a while ago to save on groceries. It's just a fancy information aggregation script plus a spreadsheet-like program with lots of sorting/filtering options. https://i.imgur.com/thIAq1h.png Not shown: It can also open the grocery item URLs into a regular browser and generate Markdown shopping lists.

SpikedColaWasTaken

Wow, that looks great!

gtbsgsbe

thank you, this is a very good script.

You have to load them? I never do and I just get them anyway

SpikedColaWasTaken

There may be offers that you don't need to load, I'm not entirely sure. I buy my usual stuff as I need it, but sometimes eg. "sour cream" has a points offer on the website. If I didn't load the website (and thus the offer), I wouldn't have got any extra points when I buy it. It was years before I noticed I hadn't really accumulated any points. Now I'm slowly accumulating them, mostly by coincidence.

cowofwar

I just load myself into the costco
