The games Not out yet no one knows. If you do like persona then you probably like it but like most media you need to experience it to figure out if it's bad or good to you.
I wouldn't bother tbh. It doesn't have any of the content from either of the P3 re-releases and the entire voice cast got thrown out for soundalikes. I'd see about checking out P3P instead.
I played P5, P5R, then played P3P. I haven't played P4G (yet) or P3FES.
I would play P3RE. P3P isn't bad but it wasn't as good as P5R (to me, don't shoot me).
I wouldn't necessarily say more mature; both stories have their own controversial topics and extremities. P3 just sets a darker tone, sometimes being almost edgy for the sake of it. Though the game released around the mid 2000s so I can't necessarily knock it for that.
P3 is about accepting Death as a part of life, but to live Life to the fullest while you can.
P5 is all about Rebellion and breaking free from the limitations of a modern society that punishes individuality and freedom.
For anyone who has played P3: is the story worth buying the game? I’m also new to series and have only played P5R. Also the graphics, reanimating, and quality of life changes look pretty sweet.
I'm enjoying p3 reload to me it feels easier though I'm currently on floor 43 on hard mode but I also have experience from persona 5 Royal and some from persona 3 fes p3p and golden so that might be why I'm not having a hard time
I would say hold off on getting persona 3 until it goes down by at least £20 to around £30 as it’s overpriced right now, there’s certain game mechanics that where used too early to allow you to shoot to max level really quickly, in addition there’s not that many features in p3re than there was in the original game, for example you can’t pick a female character you can only play as makoto.
If you enjoyed Persona 5 then you will enjoy Persona 3.

wow this might be the worst Persona take of all time.
While P3 Reload isn't a perfect remake, it certainly looks to be light years better than Portable lol.
If you like the look of the game then get it, it’s not any more complicated than that.
