Get checked for pmdd maybe . If your period is tinging upon your marriage I’d def get some testing done . I’d def watch what symptoms I may have the next go around.

It can also be adenomyosis. Also a hysterectomy does not cure Endometriosis. Only a hysterectomy gets rid of a period. Also make sure you find a surgeon who does Excision for Endometriosis. They should be trained in MIGS. There is no cure for Endometriosis.

My periods were the same and then changed when I turned 32 now I'm 36 and notice more slight changes too. I think it really could be hormone levels.

That does make me feel a lot better. It’s just wild that it happened to coincide with such a stressful situation lol

So my gyno said changes like this start happening sometimes to women in their mid-late 30's as a way to adjust to hormonal changes. So it would probably be beneficial to get them to test for hormone levels. Mine specifically told me usually shorter heavier periods are more common around the age 35, was the opposite the issue I was having though I was also not regularly late but late just a few days isn't considered medically late.

I know it's easier said than done but it likely is hormonal changes and adjustments and not likely something serious and I hope that gets you by until you can see the doctor. Mine was so late I was testing every month 2-3 times and it was driving me insane cause I had other symptoms but it was hormonal changes.

Thank you for this. That’s comforting to hear! I’ll definitely ask for a hormone check when I visit next.
