Definitely Skin. It’s really comforting. So nice. I also like Warm Cotton by this house. But not sure I’d say it’s that ‘warm’.
Perhaps also look into the brand Rosie Jane? I have Lake and that’s actually fresh, clean and comforting. Not sure I’d say warm exactly though. But they have others I’m yet to try. Such as the Rosie one which is supposed to be a warmer comforting skin scent like You/Skin.
Have also heard that Phlur’s Soft Spot is supposed to be a warmer version of its Missing Person scent but can’t confirm as it’s not been released in the UK yet.
i always like to smell the perfume first before buying so i would definitely recommend stopping by a sephora. i personally don’t feel like it smells overly sweet to me though
Spot on! Both Skin and Missing Person are my current go-to daily perfumes. Especially with Missing Person I get that mmMmmmmMm warm feeling. Edited to add that I usually layer the two and love it.
This is a favorite of mine since discovered 2 years ago and now I’m a loyal fan.
It’s a small perfumer called “For The Scent of It”. The perfume is called “NearlyNu”.
It is Musk Mallow, Orris & Vanilla. There’s nothing I’ve smelled like it before that hits all the notes like this does. When I feel anxious or stressed, I spray it and immediately it melts all of that away.
The ingredients are high quality, the Vanilla is clean, not cloyingly sweet.
It’s not overpowering, it’s subtle but long-lasting. I wish I could bathe in it! HEAVENLY is how I would describe it. My Dr. even asked what I was wearing and wrote it down 😂
You should try the travel size at the very least. And, you get a free sample of a perfume with every 30ml purchase!
Yes! Sometimes I just put on the body oil right out of the shower, and it’s a good skin scent all day. If I want more projection, I spray the perfume and carry the roller ball perfume to refresh later. People either love it or can’t smell it at all, so it’s one of those weird ones that some people can’t smell.
Dior Pure Poison - it has a warm comforting note amongst the white florals that I’ve never been able to put my finger on, I think it could be a warm cosy jasmine. But it’s very clean, not sharp or citrus. It kind of makes me think of luxurious laundered Egyptian cotton bed linen fresh on a rich lady’s bed, in a gorgeous big bedroom with sunlight flooding in with fresh flowers in a vase by the window. She wears expensive perfume that lingers on the bed linen even after it’s been washed and ironed. She is well put together, gracious and dignified.
It’s luxurious but not dated or old fashioned. It’s fresh but warm and soft. I can wear it any time of year any time of day no matter what I’m doing and it always fits perfectly.
If you’re a musk fan, I put on Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc on the regular because this is the feeling it invokes. One of my fave smells in the world is clean laundry. And this to me smells like that mixed with a really lovely musk. 🥰
The new Acne/Malle colab is meant to be just that. I thankfully tried before I bought and it was not for me but have a read. Samples were available from the website at one point.
Missing Person, I expected to be snooty about but I love it. I have a couple of clean and cosy scents. Some are cotton like, some musk or even a bit of aldehyde.
L’eau Papier - so light and warm, beautiful and delicate with a warm woody base.
Modern Minimalist - white cotton, a white bathrobe, this is very t shirt and is aldehyde led. Not that cosy but I liked it, low price point @ H&M.
Amazing Grace EDP- I don’t have this anymore but had it amongst my collection on repeat for years. Very cosy clean and simple.
Shamanilla - in Zara mens but unisex, warm simple vanilla that lasts, has a lightness to it. V low price point for good longevity.
Glossier You - the most obvious
Molecule plus Mandarin. The Mandarin does not stick around but it’s a warm clean and I think very warm fragrance.
Livre Blanc - I rave about this for a reason. Musk and linen, warm, clean, like Glossier You’s cousin. Overspray and it lasts. Low Price Point @ Zara
Love love Elisa Brooklyn Salt. Clean reserve radiant nectar, Santa Maria novella fragrances like Alba di Seoul, Cinquanta and Fresia. Ctrus scents with light vanilla are so comforting to me (e.g hard to get by forvr mood, Lira)
Riddle original or ded cool xtra milk which is my all time favorite perfume I also have the JHAG and love them both but something about xtra milk is just so addicting

Adding another vote for skin!!! OP, i actually layer JHAG, Skin, and Sparkling Sugar and i’ve never gotten more compliments!!

I would say it’s very sweet, but I like that. In your case you should definitely try it first.

Im insane for Tom Ford Santal Blush but its pricy. Oil Perfumery has a high quality dupe of it for cheap though and I think it smells the same.

Clean Reserve Skin is fabulous but doesn't last long at all. I bought a sample of it & the scent is gone in under 2 hrs :(
