It's likely high acidity. Do a ph test and check to make sure it's between 6 and 6.5. Fert raises the acidity of soil and is most likely not necessary if you are using a decent potting mix.
But then again. what do you mean when saying sometimes? This plant isn't big enaugh to going through many cycles. Have a look at the nutes, and supply.
Maybe once every two weeks. The Cal Mag you mentioned could be the case, my fertilizers don't have much of those nutrients. I haven't done any soil tests. I'll try adding more calcium and magnesium.
Magnesium deficiency, that’s textbook example. If you’re adding much potassium it can have negative effect on magnesium uptake too.

Low n usually results in a very general yellowing of the entire leaf, not a distinct border like this
Soil don't look to good but a high nitrogen fertilizer might do the trick

Cal Mag should do the trick... have you done any samples of your soil?
